Smart money is on Reptile for sure.

Reptile's one of my more liked characters, but I still really wish they would show off more new characters at this point.

I think we all do, but it's smarter to market the game towards the casual audience. Nothing to be done.

I really like Reptile gameplay-wise, so I'm really stoked to see what they do with him this time around!

I just hope that story-wise....he actually, you know....matters.

Yeah, if Reptile comes back hopefully he has more important things to do other than just being a punching bag.

aside from reptile, all I ask for to be included in this new game is the return of shang tsung and his soul steal fatality, and the remakes of subzero's head rip and scorpion's toasty fatality.

now, i know that they included the head rip and toasty fatality in the last game, but looking at the new "gore 2.0" technology that they have designed for this game, i strongly feel they should definitely bring back those fatalities and give them the next generation treatment.

anyways, that's all i ask. like other people have posted, we need to have magic based fatalities, and the soul steal is one of them.

reptile is my favorite ninja but he would be a waste.

Could be Reptile based on the MK1 "Look to La Luna" hint.

Full moon could also be a hint towards Nightwolf.

Reptile is in my fav five, however I was really hoping these two reveals would be brand new characters.

Then again, I'm thinking the lack of new character reveals has to do with the comic. If they would reveal Takeda, Forrest, Erron or anyone else, then it would kind of spoil the comic, and any tension as to whether the characters would die or not.

It would be funny to see all the hype transform into rage after fans react to his new appearance.

I want him or a new character or Fujin or even Havik. God I can't even think right now I am in hyper drive right now.

These websites must love how right before their "WORLD EXCLUSIVE REVEAL!", Boon always gives it away with one of his head-smackingly obvious hints.

I'll only be happy about Reptile if he's not literally a snarling throw-away this time. He's presence in MK9 though necessary because of it being a retro throwback game, was completely wasted to a disgusting degree.

Although, it could also mean one of several things;

- Nightwolf
- The character reveal by NRS itself on Thursday and not IGN tomorrow
- A red herring because Boon's second job is trolling the MK fan-base.

I am inclined however to think it's Reptile and we'll get the bow/staff guy Thursday during the stream because 1) It makes sense to give IGN, a place where a lot more eyes will see than a stream, a more mainstream recognizable face.

Ita a hint at the guest character! Santa Claus! All those times fighting on the pit stage and seeing santa fly over the moon.. I'm sure that's what he's hinting at!

I really hope its reptile and not night wolf.
Don't get me wrong, night wolf is a classic and I love the guy but one game without him wouldn't hurt.

Pretty convinced the bow character is Reptile, and he's going to look like a archer Samurai/reptile.

I would be thrilled. Reptile has always been a favorite of mine and I seriously doubted his chances of making it into MKX.
