Yeah, it doubles as a compliment and a word of advice, Lmao.

MK: War of the Realms. I like that title, A LOT. I think it'd be wonderful for MK7. But I think the Kamidogu concept has been used up already, so maybe they are taken back up to the Heavens using Shinnok's amulet....

"With the defeat of the Dragon King, the realms are safe once more, but at a terrible cost. The struggle for power has shifted dramatically, and a war has broken out between the realms. Every friend is an ally, and every foe an adversary.

The warriors of Earthrealm thought they had their hands full with Shao Kahn, and thought the Dragon King was as bad as it could get....but it seems that indeed the worst is yet to come, and despite the defeat of the Dragon King, the Realms are still not safe. Between clashing armies and feuding monarchs, do the Earthrealm warriors still have what it takes to face Shao Kahn and his Outworld armies.....but with the additional threat or Orderrealm and Edenia and the Netherrealm and Chaosrealm?? With the change in Raiden's storyline, I don't see him being like that in his bio. Also, I see the One Being as more of an 'it' as opposed to he or she.

“Why Brother? Why are you filled with such vile” words of young Silas
Story

Part 1

It was late at night, and two young boys stood wide awake in a secluded part of the St Jerome Catholic Orphanage. The two boys looked almost identical, but it was clearly visible that one was taller than the other. Both boys were handsome, for they each had bright blue eyes, a gentle smile and smooth black hair. Both boys gave off an amiable aura that was smooth as ice. It was truly hard to believe that the two boys had an anomaly that could create great havoc. Because of their anomaly, they were feared and hated by many people. They were not even allowed to interact with the other children in the orphanage, thus they were kept in a secluded part of the orphanage. How hard it must have been for the two boys, left alone with no one else to befriend. Mankind could truly be unkind at times. The older and taller boy was named Tobias Boon, and the other boy was named Silas Boon. Yes, it was clear that both boys were brothers.

Tobias was lying on the ragged bed, reading a book. The book was a biography about Leonardo Da Vinci. Tobias was extremely fond of Da Vinci, and he scrupulously studied Da Vinci’s art, inventions, and philosophies. Tobias acknowledged the fact that Da Vinci used mirror writing, therefore Tobias called himself ‘Noob Saibot’, which was ‘Tobias Boon’ spelt backwards.

As Tobias, or rather Noob Saibot, was reading his book, Silas was at the other corner of the room, handling something with caution. Silas bent down and watched an intricate cobweb. At the middle of the cobweb was a spider, and at the other end of the cobweb was a doomed ladybug. As the spider slowly approached the ladybug, Silas wished to save the ladybug from doom. Cautiously, Silas moved his hand slowly to the ladybug. Silas was intending to gently pull the ladybug from the web, thus saving the poor creature.

While reading a page about the famous Mona Lisa, Tobias turned aside and discovered Tobias’s attempt to save the ladybug. Silas smiled in joy, as he was just about to free the ladybug. Silas teased the spider by saying “You’re not going to devour this creature tonight”. Silas’s joy was then instantly crushed as he discovered that the spider was crushed under the sole of Tobias’s shoe. With an angelic smile, Tobias said softly to Silas “Wish granted brother. The ladybug is safe”. Although the ladybug was safe, anger boiled on Silas’s face. Silas wanted to save the spider as well, and he couldn’t stand the fact that the spider had been killed. Silas was a pacifist. Any scene of killings and death pained Silas greatly. And this was not an exception.

Tobias battled Silas’s anger by saying “Brother you’re a fool. In order for anything to be saved, something must be sacrificed. It’s plain logic”. Silas was disgusted with his brother, and he couldn’t stand that his brother was so cold-hearted. In a sad tone, Silas found himself asking “Why are you so cruel?” Tobias responded rather impassively “Why? Because I am superior. We are superior, and we shall save ourselves by killing those that hate and fear us”. Tobias walked closer around his brother and continued “We shall rule over these humans one day my brother. We, the ladybugs, shall walk all over these idiotic spiders”.

After Tobias had said his last line, there was silence for a short while. The silence was broken, when sadness suddenly accumulated in Silas’s eyes. Silas turned around, and he was no longer looking at his brother, but Silas spoke. Silas asked in a sad and soft tone “You started the fire, didn't you? You killed mother”.

Um...I'm kind of confused on that...namely because the brothers weren't brought up in an orphanage...They lived with their mother and sister in America and their mother wanted to protect the boys from their father, a 4th generation Lin Kuei warrior who went by the name of Sub-Zero. The two brothers were taken away and sent to China where their past lives were erased and they were trained to be assassins and thieves for the Lin Kuei.

In a way, I'm trying to re-invent many of the stories here, it allows me to be more creative. And I've never heard the story your talking about confirmed in any mk game, so I decided to neglect it. As I said before, I'm not trying to play by the rules of the orignal Mk( because i think it kinda sucks), thus I'm re-inventing it. Kinda like how Ultimate X-men re-invented the traditional X-men. But I only try to change minute things, which dont overly change the characters' stories.

The One-Being

“Yin cannot live without yang. Yang cannot live without yin. They are both one. They are both Yin-Yang.” Anonymous

Story

Yin and yang are two opposing forces, but yet they are also complementary forces. Yin, the darker element is feminine, where as Yang, the brighter element is masculine. These two forces can be seen everywhere. Day and night, electrons and protons, good and bad are all examples of Yin-Yang. At times when yin and yang bond, it may lead to a new creation. For example when ice and fire bond together, they form water, or when woman and man bond together, they form a baby. This philosophy of Yin-Yang can be applied when studying the unique nature of the One-Being and the Elder Gods.

Although the One-Being was not exactly a person it was actually feminine in nature, therefore she was ‘Yin’. The antithesis of the One-Being was the Elder Gods. Since the Elder Gods were masculine in nature, they were ‘Yan’. These two opposing forces worked together. These two opposing forces bonded together. And these two opposing forces had a child together. The child was known as ‘Universe’. Yes, the universe was actually the offspring of both the One-Being and Elder Gods. Sadly, both the Elder Gods and the One-Being did not want to share the Universe together. They both became greedy for domination, thus the eyes of avarice lead to the eyes of war. Yin and Yang fought a brutal war.

When a mother’s child feels pain, the mother feels pain as well does it not? This was how the Elder Gods defeated the One-Being. They hurt the One-Being where it truly hurt, which was within its child. The Elder-Gods broke the Universe into pieces. This resulted in the mother experiencing excruciating pain. Since the child was shattered, the One-Being became extremely weak, but it did not die. Yin-Yang can never die. In order for the One-Being to become strong again, the Universe had to be fused back together. The One-Beign hoped this could be fulfilled by making a deal with a Dragon.

The Dragon was known as Onaga. Onaga was a king that had died, and his spirit burned in the unholy flames of the Netherealm. The One-Being offered a deal to the Dragon. The deal stated if Onaga became the One Beings new “yang”, and they conceived a child together, she would grant life to Onaga, and Onaga would become ruler once again. The Dragon agreed without hesitation, but there was a twist in the deal. The Dragon would first have to gather the pieces of the Kamidugu, which represented the broken pieces of the Universe. This task would not be simple, but the Dragon succeeded by means of deception. After Onaga accomplished this task, both the Dragon and the One Being became one, and the Dragon became pregnant. The One-Being told the Dragon that the child that was implanted in him was no ordinary child, because the child was acually going to be the reincarnation of the One-Being in flesh. The One-Being also told the Dragon that if he fused the Kamidugu together, they would both become invincible. The Dragon grinned, and in an instant the Dragon was teleported back in Outworld, for life was granted to him. The Dragon was granted many new abilities, and was almost invincible due to the bond he had with the One-Being.

All of a sudden, the Dragon felt pain within his bowels, and within seconds he puked out a massive egg. The egg was where the child lay. Blaze, a bond servant of the One-Being, was sent to hide the egg, as well as to protect it. The egg would hatch when the time was right. Unfortunately, when Onaga was just about to fuse the Kamidugu together, he was killed. Blaze felt Onaga’s soul going back to the Netherealm, and Blaze said to himself “She will not be pleased”. Moments later, the egg hatched, and a beautiful figure stepped out. It seemed, that the One-Being had become flesh.

Appearance

The One-Being’s appearance is the pinnacle of what feminine beauty can be. She possesses graceful hazel eyes, smooth unblemished skin, straight and bright brown hair. She is tall, and as a very nice figure. As for clothing, the One-Being wears none what so ever. But her hair is so long that it actually covers her breasts and lower private parts. Don’t let her appearance fool you, although she is beautiful, she is seeking for every piece of the Kamidugu, and she will kill those that get in her way.

Power and abilities

Although the One-Being is not fully ‘whole’, she is still extremely powerfully. She has the ability to control nature, people, and animals. She also possesses the ability to alter reality. She can kill people by just thinking about it, making her the toughest opponent in Mk history.

The story I'm referring to comes from MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero. Although not mentioned in the game, it was mentioned on the official site for it and it's also talked about in Gavok's MK Plot Guide. Also, it goes into details about the origin of Scorpion's ninja clan, the Shirai Ryu. I don't understand when you say that you think that the rules of the original MK kind of suck. Can you give me an explanation on that?

Regarding the One Being story, it's very interesting and I see where you are coming from with the female thing. However, there are some things that you have to understand.

The One Being fed off the Elder Gods and they waged a war against it in the timeless void until 6 Elder Gods created the Kamidogu and used it to shatter the One Being's consciousness. The many realms of reality are the shattered consciousness of the One Being and it did not directly influence Onaga; it subconsciously manipulated him as well as his former advisor, Shao Kahn.

But anyway, I know you're trying to re-invent things, but I just wanted to clarify with you on things about Sub-Zero and the One Being. Btw, are you going to give the One Being a name?

Oops, I said that wrongly. When I said I think the rules suck. I meant to say that some of the stories for the characters are badly done in my opinion, so I try to re-invent them. By the way, in the prologue found on the 1st page, I do mention the Gods creating the Kamidugu in order to shatter the One-Being's consciousness. I just wrote the One-Being's story in more of a figurative tone, the 'child' is a representaion of the the One-Being's subconscieness.

As for giving the One-Being a name, I haven’t decided yet. I'll try and look up some cool name that has meaning. I appreciate your comments by the way. I have a question though. When you say the One-Being fed off the Elder Gods, what exactly do you mean? Also, the One-Being actually manipulated Shoa Kahn?

P.S. sorry if I'm not making any sense. I'm just so sleepy

lol...I understand. I do agree that some of the characters' storylines are badly done *cough*Tanya*cough* ahem...tongue

Uh..to me, the way they changed Sub-Zero's story a bit sort of made things kind of unnecessarily complicated since Sub-Zero was originally going to be Chinese but then they made him an American who was taken to China by his father and stripped of his past. I would've much preferred it if their residence was simply in China.

Anyway, there isn't much of an explanation when it comes to the One Being feeding off the Elder Gods.

When Onaga was posing under the name Damashi and was explaining the importance of the Kamidogu to Shujinko, he mentioned that the One Being fed off the Elder Gods and that it consumed them. I think what he meant was that it consumed their strength and life force. Hopefully, MK7 will go more into explanation about the One Being because right now, it's very vague and hard to understand.

And yes, the One Being also controlled Shao Kahn. That's why Shao Kahn was so determined to conquer all realms and fuse them together. He was being subconsciously controlled by the One Being and the more the realms are fused together, the more the One Being's consciousness reassembles.

Ermac's alternate bio implies that both Shao Kahn and Onaga are being controlled by the One Being. Ermac's words were "It's as if they are both being manipulated by the very fabric of the realms.". While Ermac isn't aware of what this force is, he can definitely sense it and I wonder how that'll develop.
