I also got this fight but I did not do a single brutality. It might be number of X-Rays done before a certain round.

As a side note this fight is lame as expected of course.

It's the sweeps dragon challenge. Using low kick was how you fought Jade in MK2.

I don't think it is. I didn't have that challenge when I got her, all I did was do a fatality on the opponent and it said I got a secret fight.

Does every round have to end with a brutality or can it be a fatality? And why couldn't they have used Baraka as a secret fight? He's already on the disc...

Wow that's a pretty lame secret fight they could have at least made her green! Wonder if the secret fight for the MK3 tower will be a blacked out Kano to honor noob from MK3 when he was a palette swap if Kano!

I believe mournful kitana is an homage to the jade secret fight of MK2

The secret fight came up for me after I did a simple Fatality.

Geez NRS thanks for the incredible secret fight! Seriously, what a fucking joke. Don't even bother adding these if you're just giving us another normal fight really. At least add something unique to it. For instance have it take place on MK9 Goro's lair stage or even an upscaled bitmap of the original MK1 arena. I mean you're not even creating anything new here...

So I beat this tower and got the secret fight too, but I didn't get the mk2 background backing for ur icon, all I got was a mk2 emblem, I know mk2-3 have backgrounds because u can scroll through it. Any Ideas?

Or just use the Baraka NPC that's on the disc instead of Kitana.

They did the best they could to give us a secret fight akin to the original MK2.

Anyway, I didn't do any finishers and still fought her.

I agree, Baraka would have been much cooler. I know he wasn't a secret fight in MK2 and Jade was but Mournful Kitana isn't Jade lol idk I guess its underwhelming since any one of us can play as or fight her whenever we want, while Baraka can only be fought in story mode.

I just think that would have been cooler ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

Heh, I was even trying to win at least one fight per match using only Front Kicks. It just sorta happened...nothing related to Flawless Victories or anything. Wonder what the true criteria is since everyone is reporting something different - probably not losing a match.

I'm begining to think that the criteria is "go to Living Towers, click on the Premier tower and play that tower!"

The secret fights are definitely a step down from from MK2011, but thats completely understandable given the Nostalgia-fest that was MK9.

I got the secret fight after not blocking the entire time. Though I also performed a fatality on every fight.

Yeah, I did it in 2 rounds. Personally I didn't find her much harder then the rest of the tower. I don't know what the OP was talking about with the armor either. Mine was mournful kitana, didn't notice any modifiers. I didn't get anything special for beating her either, maybe a few bonus koins but the achievement (for just getting to her) was the real prize.

FWIW I did a fatality on match 8 and about half the previous matches. Never lost a round and completed all the challenges offered in the ladder

Yeah I got to her too. Nothing special about it tbh, especailly since I already got the trophy for the secret fight in the MK1 tower. All I did was not lose any rounds and did some sort of finisher on every opponent (Fatality, brutality and Faction Kills) and got to her after beating opponent 8.
