OMG I wouldn't say outstanding, but Thanks grin

Hmmmm, Ermac is one of the possible returners. I have an idea where he could fit in, however, I think I need to include more evil characters. We'll see. here is a list of the possible returners:

Ashrah
Drahmin
Ermac
Hsu Hao
Jade
Kabal
Kenshi
Kintaro
Li Mei
Rayden
Reptile
Sektor (Most likely return)
Mileena (Most likely will return)
Kira (Most likely will return)

I like Reiko's story. And I noticed Sareena's lised as one of his allies. Sounds intriguing... grin

Thanks XiahouDun, and Yes, there's always been rumours and hints of involvment between the two. All will become clear in the alternate bios wink *EDIT* Actually, It wont be clear, but there will be involvement between the two.

Hm, I think a lot of your new characters have some potential.

First, I'm sure it's obvious I'm going to comment on Angelus first... but anyway, he sounds pretty interesting. I was sort of surprised MK:D left out the vampire people as a whole, when Raiden's ending in MK:DA sort of hinted there would be more involvement... another one of those pointless cliffhangers from the MK storyboard writers, I suppose. Anyhow, the Vampire people's new purpose sounds fairly sound. I was sort of surprised by the end of Angelus' bio, of course... it's nice to see people that may not even like him at all are willing to give Shinnok another chance.

I'll have to agree with the lot about Roxie's name... it sounds a bit Street Fighter-ish to me. I think the concept itself is good, though. Earthrealm needs a female to represent it... and if both Sonya and Kira disappear (like I am hoping), Roxie would be a welcome addition.

I like Peiran as well, though I'll have to admit I have a thing for all the godly characters in MK and always want to see more of them. I feel she could use some fleshing out, though. Stopping Raiden's rampage is pretty much Fujin's storyline, so I'd like her to be more involved with Raiden (or another character) in some way so that she can be distinguished a bit more.

Lorelei may be my favourite though... only because I am a very large fan of the sorcerer characters in MK and have always thought a female would do well as one... (My favourite three characters are sorcerers/warlock type characters).

Okay, as for Khameleon... I think your ideas are good, though they're a bit different from mine (not necessarily a bad thing, though). She just has a more primal feel in your storyline, which I think you handled very well. Her motives are sound too, so there aren't really any loose ends to wrap up or questions to be asked about her true purpose.

Firstly thanks for ur comments.

I believe every character deserves a second chance, with the exception of Chameleon, Meat and Mokap who aren't real IMO and were just jokes. Yes, even Tanya........but she blew it. I wont even go there tho. Lol. I beleive Shinnok has a lot of potential, but unfortunately his only appearance lead to me disliking him for a number of reasons.
I too was a little bit miffed and slightly peeved at the vampires being left out of the MKD storyline, but then again If I had to start on the things i find wrong with the MkD sotryline, Id be here for a while.

As for Roxie's name, yes I know its lame. Her name, and the name for my other new character, Yharr, are subject to change and most likely will change. I just gave them thos names so I didnt have to refer to them as Character X and Character Y. I kinda want her to have a naive sounding name, so I need to get my thinking cap on.

Peiran will get involvment with other characters in her Alternate bio and more interaction with Rayden. As for Stopping Rayden being Fujin's job, well i see his primary role as taking over Rayden's role for now, and Recruiting warriors and guiding the Earthrealm warriors. of course he will be involved with Rayden and Perian too.

Lorelei is my favourite out of my new characters too. I have always really liked the name Lorelei. I think it sounds kinda mystical and musterious and fits a sorceress well. Ive always wanted a femals sorceress or witch or something of that nature. She will also be getting an ally to help her too, thought the details arent exact at the mo.

As you know, Khameleon has always been a favourite of mine. Like Sareena, she has masses of potential, so the opportunities are kinda endless as to where they fit in or what they do. We only have knowledge of both based on one game really, which is little, but enough to incorporate them into a game and allow lots of different areas to be explored. I would love to hear ur ideas for her some time. The reason I choose this particular story for Khameleon, was like u said, so that her intentions were made clear. There is still a bit of mystery surrounding her....this way, her story can develop a bit more. With some of the story ideas for Khameleon, they kinda hit a dead end, and I dont want her to be a one hit wonder or filler.
I have many ideas for Sareena too, if only the MK Team would give both Khameleon and Sareena a chance.

Only one update at the mo. I discovered a discrepency in my story for Kung Lao who was supposed to accompany Blaze, so I will add him asap.

Blaze:
Origin: Unknown
Status: Unknown
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Onaga
Foes: Shao Kahn, Reiko

After many years of guarding the Great Dragon Egg, Blaze found himself free from the spell which Onaga’s Holy Men had forced upon him. Blaze watched from the shadows of Outworld, as the events leading to Onaga’s return unfolded. Blaze felt a sense a felt of pride as he watched Onaga release his power upon Outworld, however the Dragon King’s reign was short lived. Enraged and angered at Onaga’s defeat, Blaze set out on a mission to find his previous captors, in that hope that somehow, they could once again save the being Blaze had spent many years protecting. He returned to the area of his previous capture, but after days of searching, Blaze found no trace of Onaga’s Holy Men. It was in a local village however, that Blaze overheard two guards speaking. They had been sent by Reiko, a general of Shao Kahn, to find and kill Onaga’s Head Sorceress Lorelei. Blaze tracked the two men as they travelled to Chaosrealm. Once there, the two men found and attacked a cloaked woman. In an attempt to get closer to the woman, Blaze knocked her off her feet. As he approached her however, he was attacked by one of Reiko’s henchmen. He met a swift end at the hands of Blaze; however the distraction allowed the woman to escape. Blaze must track her down and convince her to aid him in an attempt to revive Onaga once more.

*EDIT*A little explanation about Blaze
I felt it necessary to explain Blaze a bit more. My thinking behind Blaze's story is that the spells used to make him protect the Egg, in some way bound him to the egg in a trance like state, so he could know if it was in danger etc. And I guess he kinda became attached to the being within. Now, If u had proteced the egg for many years, and then it to hatch.....only for the work to be destroyed like 10 minutes later (Ok it wasnt 10mins but u get the idea)......I think you would be a little pissed off. Hence, Blaze wanting to restore Onaga.

Scorpion:
Origin: Earthrealm
Status: Ninja Spectre
Alignment: Unknown
Allies: The Elder Gods
Foes: Sub Zero, Noob Saibot, Quan Chi, Drahmin, Moloch

A chance encounter with the Elder Gods after his defeat at the hands of Drahmin and Moloch, caused Scorpion to be transformed into a weapon of Great power. The Elder Gods gave him the task of stopping the return of Onaga, the great Dragon King who’s return was imminenet after the foolish actions of an Earth mortal. He failed in his mission however, and Onaga returned, posing a threat to all existence. Through the combined efforts of Rayden’s mortals however, Onaga was defeated, and Scoprion was stripped of the powers given to him by the Elder Gods as punishment for his failure, and returned to Earthrealm. Although he was bound to serve the Elder God as their Champion, Scorpion had not forgotten his defeat at the hands of Quan Chi’s two servant Oni. The prospect of gaining revenge on his sworn enemies excited Scorpion, and he felt a fire run through his veins that he had not felt since before his encounter with the Elder Gods. Until such a time as he can safely gain revenge on his enemies, Scorpion plans to re-instate his former clan, the Shirai Ryu. This way, Scorpion can send spies into the Netherealm, and indeed every realm, to keep track of his allies.

Kung Lao:
Origin: Earthrealm
Status: Shaolin Monk
Alignment: Good
Allies: Liu Kang, Kitana, Bo’Rai Cho, Fujin, Khameleon, Ilya
Foes: Onaga, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Shinnok

Johnny Cage, Kung Lao and Sonya watched in horror as Jax and Shujinko were mercilessly killed by Rayden. Fujin ensured them that Rayden’s actions were not permitted by the Elder Gods, and that steps had been taken to track down Rayden. Fujin informed the three fighters of the Resurgence of Shao Kahn and the army which Noob Saibot had amassed in the Netherrealm. Fujin asked Kung Lao to track down any former allies who could assist Earth in their fight against evil. Kung Lao set out for China, where he hoped to find a fellow monk Kai, who had aided him in the fight against Shinnok. He travelled for many days, but realised he was not alone whn he discovered a shadowy creature tracking him. When confronted, she revealed herself to be Khameleon, a raptor. She told Kung Lao about her people’s death at the hands of Shao Kahn. Realising they shared a common enemy, Kung Lao nervously allowed her to travel with him.

I like all the new work except for one bio, which is Blazes.

why i don't like Blaze's bio is because it changes the way his character seems to be in MKDA. In his ending he left to continue his quest without a care in the world. He didn’t stop to think of revenge foe bring held hostage and forced to guard the egg. He didn’t care what was coming out the egg. He just went about his quest. He had no sense of emotion or feeling. He was every bit mysterious.

Crow pointed out that Raidens ending mentioned the vampires being a threat. No other ending contradicted this and Raiden's ending was pretty much a stand alone or independent ending. The same can be said of Blaze's ending. Nothing contradicts his ending, so we can assume he did go back to his quest. I just feel that him caring for the care and what happened to Onaga to be beyond his nature as Blaze seems to lack feeling judging by his ending. I feel he’s changed too much in this bio and that he should be setting about his quest, whatever it is.

Tanya got what was coming to her. I wanted to have Kitana finish her off hehe, but that would more than likely have meant Tanya's return, or writing a very longish intro......and the thought of her being around any longer makes me want to vomit. tongue So Jade done her Quuen an Realm a good deed in taking care of the traitor. smile

A stand alone ending does not mean the ending is canon.

Also, as for Blaze's ending, I haven't contradicted it. Yes theres no mention of him caring for the the being inside the egg, but there is also no mention of him NOT caring for the being inside the egg either. So you cant assume either way. This is just my view on it.

As for his quest, well it occurs in Outworld according to his story, as did the uprise of Onaga. So assuming he did infact continue on his quest, he would have seen the events of Onaga's return and of his demise too.

Smoke:
Origin; Earthrealm
Status: Cyborg Ninja
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Noob Saibot
Foes: Sub Zero, Kenshi, Ashrah

Whilst battling Sub Zero and Kenshi alongside Noob Saibot, Smoke began to malfunction. He found himself back in the Netherrealm, with Noob Saibot’s servants working tirelessly to repair his components. Once finished, they informed Noob that the cyborg was ready for reprogramming. Noob was pleased to see that his cyborg companion had been fully repaired, but when he began to programme Smoke, Smoke felt that although he was receiving the information input by Noob Saibot accurately, he felt no great need to carry out the orders. Confused as to what was happening, Smoke decided to carry out the order Noob gave him for the time being. Noob’s orders were to begin the automation of the servants who wished to become part of Noob’s cyborg army. But when Smoke encountered those to be automated, he found that not all of the warriors were volunteers. As the automation process began, Smoke knew that he was receiving something he knew that Noob had not input into his system- Feelings.

Shang Tsung:
Origin: Unknown
Status: Sorcerer
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Unkown
Foes: Shao Kahn, Reptile, Quan Chi, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana

Although his actions before Onaga’s return had threatened the existence of Earthrealm, The Elder Gods recognised his attempt to defeat Onaga, and reformed Shang Tsung in the Netherrealm. His powers were weak, however, he still had the ability to steal souls, and use them to maintain his young appearance. Although the Netherrealm is not the ideal place for someone who wishes to use souls as the source of his powers, Shang Tsung found that the essence of fallens warriors was a suitable, temporary replacement for souls. Once he had restored himself to full health, Shang Tsung sought out a Portal he had created many years ago while serving Shao Kahn. As he journeyed through the Netherrealm however, Shang Tsung came across a band of warriors wearing cloaks bearing the mark of Shao Kahn. Realising that his former master must have somehow cheated death, Shang Tsung knew it would not be safe to return to Outworld for the time being. Ally-less, Shang Tsung decided to travel to Earthrealm, where he would attempt to convince the Earth’s warriors that the best course of action would be fight their common enemy together.
