I liked it, but i don't think anyone will ever trust Shang Tsung again.
He has found himself lonely...................oh well he doesn't need anybody.

okay, so i just read everything, and wow, you can really tell that you put a lot of thought and effort into the characters and the plot lines. this is really great stuff, and i cant wait to read more. i especially cant wait to read more about sindel and sub-zero's story line, and kitana and peiran's alternate bios. keep 'em comin!

I liked Smoke's it's very ironic. He was one of the Lin Kuei that refused to be automated, but was anyway against his own will. Now he's doing the same to the Brotherhood of Shadow. Good stuff, can't wait to read some more.

Kai:

After the battle with Shinnok and Quan Chi, the Shaolin Monk Kai decided not to return to his Training in The Temple of the Order of Light. Instead, he decided that he wished to find his inner self, and set out in a journey across the Realms. While in Outworld, Kai became aware of the uprise of a great evil. A short time after this, the Wind God Fujin appeared before Kai and informed him of recent events. Kai found it hard to believe the change in Rayden, the God of Thunder. He knew that for Rayden to have reacted in such a manner, that times must be desperate, and the situation serious. Kai agreed to aid Fujin once more in the fight against evil. Fujin informed him that Kung Lao and a few new allies were currently on their way to Outworld to track Kai down, and told Kai of the location of the Portal that Kung Lao would use to enter Outworld. Kai set out to the rendezvous area, but after many days of waiting, there was no sign of Kung Lao or any of his former allies. Kai began to realise that something was obviously wrong. Not knowing what was the best course of action to take, Kai decided to travel through the Portal where he hoped to find his former allies.

Yharr:
Origin: Edenia
Status: General in Kitana’s Allied Armies
Alignment: Good
Allies: Kitana, Sindel, Jade, Sareena
Foes: Noob Saibot, Reiko, Angelus

Yharr had served the Edenian Throne for many years. His military record was unblemished, so it came as no surprise to him when Kitana asked him to take command of troops in her attempt to rid the Realms of evil. Kitana’s troops comprised of many warriors from many realms and backgrounds. Kitana informed Yharr that her forces would be split into three main groups. Yharr was appointed the task of commanding the Troops who would remain in Edenia., while Kitana herself would lead toops into the Netherrealm, while Sareena’s squad would concentrate on protecting earth. Although he would not directly question Kitana’s orders, Yharr has reservations about trusting the Netherrealm Demon Sareena. Worried that her intentions may not be as they seem, Yharr ordered two of his warriors to watch Sareena closely, and report back any suspicious behaviour or signs that Sareena’s allegiance to the army was questionable.

Dairou:
Origin: Realm of Order
Status: Mercenary
Alignment: Neutral
Allies: Havik, Darrius
Foes: Hotaru, The Seidan Guards

It was the Leader of The Seido Resistance, Darrius who had hired Dairou to kill the Seidan guardsman Hotaru. Dairou was successful in his mission, and took great pleasure in informing Hotaru of who had marked him for death as he drew his final breaths. With hotaru dead, not only had he accomplish his mission, but Dairou had gained revenge on the man who arrested so many years ago. When he retuned to the Resistance headquarters to inform Darrius, he found the Resistance in disarray. Those left informed him of Darrius’ death at the hands of the Hotaru. Dairou informed them that Darrius had been avenged, and of Hotaru’s death. Having previously been and enforcer of the strict regime in Seido, Dairou had learned the harsh reality of after being on the receiving end. The people of Seido had no choice but to live with this harsh regime, so Dairou takes it upon himself to set them free by accepting the offer to take over from Darrius as Leader of the Resistance. His first task would be to track down Havik. He would be able to aid Dairou in his quest to end the Seidan Guard’s rule.



Ok. Now that's the main bios of all 23 of the character that i confirmed were in My MK7.
My plan was to have 30 characters, with the rest of the places uncertain. Many characters could fit easily into the storyline, so I thought I'd wait and see how these ones story went first before finally deciding on the final places.
Although I have decided on the final places, i may cut the number of character by 2, leaving 28.

To leave a bit of mystery and intriuge, I wont reveal who the characters are until I post their bios.

Keep watching for the final characters. And then of course the alternates bios.

I think I would be suspicious of an ex-evil Netherrealm Demon too

And as for Kai.........we shall see. But I think its obvious its not Kung Lao and Ilya that await him at the other side.

The final 7 places are now confirmed. 4 of the characters have stories which are kind of independant, so they would be my four Secret Characters. The other three are involved and tied to other stories.

These four basically have independant stories. They are involved with the main storyline and characters, but lets jsut say the game and storyline wouldn't fall apart without them.

The *'s represent the letters in each character's name to give a little clue. The first of the unlockables is a new character, but all the others have appeared in MK before. The secret characters would have places on the select screen too, which would be a table of 5 boxes across, and 6 boxes down, to make 30 squares. The four corners would be occupied with a '?' and that would be each secret character. the unlockables would be the usual shadowed out image. They would be place next to and above/below each '?' so that a L shape in each corner was for secrets/unloackables, as well as two squares in the middle.

These bios are fantastic, I love the twists and turns of alot of them so it's great.

Ok. Here are two of the remaining three Unlockable characters. I present, Jade and Xubin:

Jade:
Origin: Edenia
Status: Protector to Edenian Throne
Alignment: Good
Allies: Kitana, Sindel
Foes: Tanya, Reptile, Rain, Onaga

After ending the life of the traitor Tanya, Jade, along with Queen Sindel, set out to free Princess Kitana and her allies from the control of Onaga- a task that would prove more difficult than Jade had imagined. Even after the Earth warriors were free, Kitana would not halt. Her attacks became stronger, and Jade began doubt that Kitana was fighting out of necessity. It was not until Queen Sindel released the soul of Onaga, that Kitana stopped her attack. As Kitana came to realise her actions, Sindel informed her of Mileena’s escape and masquerade, and that it was rumoured that Kahn had cheated death. Enraged at this, Kitana ordered Jade to locate Mileena and watch her actions carefully. Jade was also ordered to find out what she could about the return of Shao Kahn, and relay the information back to Edenia. Jade set out as ordered, but when she reached Outworld, there was no trace of Mileena. All Jade found was a large army around Shao Kahn’s Palace. As she approached, Jade was attacked from behind. Although vastly outnumbered by the men who attacked her, Jade was not ready to give in. She fought hard but was overpowered by a blow which rendered her unconscious. When she awoke, however, it was not Kahn who stood before her......but Princess Kitana.


Xubin:
Origin: Outworld
Status: Unkown
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Onaga, Lorelei, Blaze
Foes: Shao Kahn

Centuries ago, Xubin served Onaga as a leader of as a loyal bodyguard. Xubin was a formidable warrior- trained both hand to hand combat and the art of sorcery. One day during a training regime, Xubin overheard a plot devised by Shao Kahn to overthrow his master. Xubin acted immediately, and set out to warn Onaga. However, he was too late. By the time he returned to Onaga’s fortress, his master was dead. Xubin quickly contacted Lorelei and informed her that Onaga’s death was the work of Shao Kahn. The two plotted and attack, however, it was not long before they found themselves marked for death by Kahn. The two went into hiding, but found that they were not the only ones still loyal to their late master. Lorelei and Xubin lead a cult loyal to the memory of Onaga, and through their combined sorcery, Lorelei and Xubin summoned the Soul of Onaga and placed it within the last of the surviving Dragon Egg. In attempt to conceal the egg and keep it safe, Lorelei cast a spell on a wandering warrior known for his fighting skills. Under the spell, the warrior was bound to the being inside and forced to protect. After this the group disbanded. That was the last Xubin heard of his friend Lorelei. Until one day, a scared and anxious Lorelei arrived at his hideout.


Drahmin:
Origin: Netherrealm
Status: Oni Tormentor
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Shang Tsung, Moloch
Foes: Scorpion, Quan Chi

Although hiding in an Outworld forest, it was not long before the sorcerer Shang Tsung learned of Drahmin and Moloch’s escape from the Netherrealm. Drahmin informed him of Quan Chi’s betrayal, and the sorcerer offered them the chance to gain their revenge. Shang Tsung hid them in the dungeon of his fortress. After many days, the Oni were confronted by a familiar face, the Ninja Spectre Scorpion. Scorpion was not able to overcome their combined power, and they cast him into a soulnado. The celebrated their victory, but not long after their figh, the two Oni heard an immense battle taking place above them. A large explosion rippped through the Palace, and falling debris crushed Moloch. Knowing he could not save his companion, Drahmin escaped the dungeon, foolishly entering a portal which took him back to the Netherrealm. Drahmin could not believe how foolish he had been, however the Netherrealm was familiar to him and he was now able to roam free through it’s many planes. Drahmin still took great pleasure in torturing those he preyed upon, gaining information before mercessly killing them. After capturing a wandering mortal, Drahmin made interrogated him......only to find out that he was working for the sorcerer Quan Chi who was once again back in the Netherrealm.

Ok. That leaves only the Secret character to be revealed. I will post them in the next few days.
They comprise of ALL returning characters.

Character 1: It's a mystery.
Character 2: Female. Hints in 2 of the bios.
Character 3: Only ever playable in MKT
Character 4: Appeared in two add-on games.

That was a good idea Trish to put them in a spoiler box, incase people didnt want to know or wanted to guess by themselves. Im not going to let on if you are right or not just yet though.

Ok. The first two of the secret characters are:

Ermac:
Origin: Outworld
Status: Wanderer
Alignment: Good
Allies: Liu Kang, Kenshi
Foes: Shao Kahn, Onaga

For years Ermac had obeyed Shao Kahn’s orders and unleashed unimaginable evil across many realms. When Kenshi released Ermac from the bond with Kahn, Ermac swore to try and restore good throughout the realms. Ermac was the being who aided Liu Kang to purify the Souls of his fallen comrades who were under Onaga’s control. The Thunder God Rayden thanked Ermac for their help in destroying Onaga’s evil, and asked Ermac to join the forces of good. Ermac felt that they could not accept Rayden’s offer, however, they let Rayden know that they would be remaining in Outworld for the time being. Once Rayden and his allies had left, Ermac noticed three figures lurking in the shadows around Onaga’s Palace. Ermac followed the three figures, and soon realised that they were a group consisting of a master and his two protégés. Ermac watched as the two younger members sparred. But the battle between the two did not halt. The female fighter became more aggressive, and she soon overpowered her comrade, killing him in cold blood. As the master congratulated her, Ermac began to recall that this type of ritual was common among both Earthrealm and Outworld’s underground clans. Fearing that such a clan has regrouped, Ermac decide to follow the two warriors, in order to assess the threat which they pose to their, and other, realms.


Mileena:
Origin: Outworld
Status: Mutated Clone of Princess Kitana
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Onaga
Foes: Kitana, Bo’Rai Cho, Baraka

After feasting on Baraka’s flesh, Mileena set out for Outwrold in attempt to take the realm as her own. With Kitana and Kahn out of the way, what remained of the Outworld troops would pose little threat. Mileena’s plan did not work out, however. As she progressed through Outworld, her army was dessimated, and she saw her former Emperor Shao Kahn commanding his troops. Eager to escape death, Mileena fled the battleground. Weakened from the battles she had previously fought, Mileena had no choice but to seek refuge in a deserted cave not far from Kahn’s Castle. From the safety of her cave, Mileena watched as Kahn built his army. Although Kahn’s troops had shown no sign of knowing about her whereabouts, Mileena sensed that she was being watched. After many days, Mileena came to realise that if Kahn’s troops had not arrived yet, they weren’t coming. For the first time since Kahn’s return, Mileena ventured out of her hideout. But she would have to be even more vigilant that ever. With Onaga and Baraka both dead, Mileena found herself allyless. As she passed Kahn’s Castle however, Mileena came across a situation which could prove very beneficial to her survival.

I like how you always reffered to Emrac as "they" many people forget to do that. I like both of their demos alot. So now he's following Kabal and Kira, can't wait to see where this leads.

Awesome bios! I like them all. Some few unexpected turns (like Jade's story) and some kinda expected to happen. Haha, didnt know you let almost all the people die . Keep it up. I hope you get Li Mei's story soon , haha. You should work with Midway. I bet they need someone like you to make the story better.

Ok, here are the bios for the final two secret characters. I apologise that it's taken me so long to put these up.


Kintaro:
Origin: Outworld
Status: Shokan Warrior
Alignment: Good
Allies: Kitana, Kung Lao
Foes: Goro, Shao Kahn

Many years had passed since Kintaro failed the Emperor Shao Kahn in his attempt to take over Earthrealm. During this time, the Shokan had turned their back on Shao Kahn, and allied with the Edenian Princess Kitana. This alliance caused a lot of unrest amongst the Shokan people, including Kintaro himself. Many did not like the idea of so easily allying with their enemy, but when King Gorbak approached Kintaro, he convinced him that the alliance was made for the greater good. King Gorbak informed Kintaro that he was to aid Goro in leading the Shokan troops into battle. Eager to prove himself, Kintaro left for Outworld where he would meet with Goro and Kitana. But when he arrived, he found many of his warriors already in battle. When reporting to Princess Ktana, news came of the untimely death of Goro. Kitana informed Kintaro of the rise of the Deadly Alliance, and gave him full command of the troops in her absence. Kintaro lead his troops to victory against Kano’s army, but the victory was short lived. Only days later, news Reached Kintaro that more Outworld troops were approaching from the east. With Kano dead, Kintaro set out to find out who was in command of these troops. What he saw was breathtaking. Shao Kahn ruler of Outwrold was commanding troops from his fortress, and at his side was none other than Prince Goro. Enraged at such treachery, Kintaro set out to overthrow his former ally, and the traitor to his own people.

Sektor:
Origin: Earthrealm
Status: Leader of Tekunin
Allignment: Evil
Allies: Tekunin Forces
Foes: Sub Zero, Smoke, Cyrax, Jax, Sonya, Sareena, Kitana.

After his defeat at the hands of Sub Zero, and failure to obtain the Dragon Medallion, Sektor escaped to Japan, where he aimed on amassing a great army of cyborgs. Sektor held fighting tournaments in Japan, with only the best warriors being chosen for automation. Sektor came across many great warriors, and quickly his numbers grew. With the automation of his army begun, Sektor left Japan and travelled north to the Lin Kuei Temple where he would take on his old adversary Sub Zero once more. But when he arrived, Sektor found the Lin Keui temple unguarded. The new Grand Master Sub Zero was nowhere to be found. The Lin Kuei’s numbers also seemed to be diminished, but Sektor was no fool. He realised that the Lin Kuei’s warriors must be engaging in battle. He captured and tortured one of the warriors there who informed him of the events of Onaga’s uprise. Sektor also discovered that the second in command, a woman named Sareena, had lead troops to Outwold, where they would aid Edenia’s Princess Kitana in a joint effort to rid the realms of evil. With Sub Zero and Sareena gone, Sektor took his chance to gain some revenge for his defeat, by destroying the Lin Kuei temple, and the remaining people inside. His mission was now to find out what he could about those Kitana’s army were fighting. Sektor’s enemy had sided with Kitana.....he would therefore side with her enemy.


I will now start posting the alternate bios.Khameleon and Angelus' alternates have already posted but I'll post them again anyway. The alternate bios will mostly not be as long as the original bios, but will add (hopefully) some extra character depth and interactoin, as well tie up some loose ends in the story etc.

These are good.

I like Kintaro's. I think it'd be cool if Kintaro sided with Edenia against Goro. I also like that you don't have all the Shokan automatically just rolling with whatever Goro does.

Sektor's is cool too. Looking forward to the rest.

I came up with this story a while ago for the character Skarlett. For those of you who dont know her, she was rumoured to be a Red version of Kitana/Mileena/Jade, cause by errors like the one which cause Scorpion/Sub etc to become red, leading to Ermac. Skarlett was the name given to the red form of the females.

I posted this in a thread about Skarlett, and decided to use it in this storyline too.

Skarlett would be an UNPLAYABLE Secret Character.

Skarlett:
Origin: The Heavens
Status: Watcher
Alignment: Good
Allies: The Elder Gods, Fujin
Foes: Shinnok, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Onaga

Many centuries ago, the being known as Shao Kahn began his mission to become supreme ruler of all realms. During this time, Shao Kahn recruited many powerful warriors, from a variety of realms, to aid him in his mission. The Elder Gods watched carefully as the Earth Realm began to move within Shao Kahn's reach. Shortly after Shao Kahn's forces killed the Edenian Ruler and took over the realm, spies picked up word of a plan of Kahn's to unleash a great evil from the depths of the Netherrealm. Kahn's mission was to capture souls, and release them from the Netherrealm, a task which he was sucsessful in completeing. The souls could not survive on their own, but by means of an ancient relic, Shao Kahn bound the souls together into a single being. This being was known as Ermac. The Elder Gods feared this being, a reightfully so. Ermac proved to be powerful, and ruthless and aided Kahn in the slaughter of many innocent lives. but, unbeknown to both Kahn and Ermac, a spell was placed on the relic used by a spy hand chosen by The Elder Gods Themselves. For every Soul Shao Kahn took from the Netherrealm, one was taken from the Heavens, and embodied in the same manner of Ermac. This being took on the form of Skarlett. For many years, Skarlett lay in the shadows of Earthrealm, and later Outworld, watching the events of Shang Tsungs Tournament and the subsequent happenings closely. With the threat against Earth reaching new heights, now is the time for The Watcher of The Elder Gods to be revealed.
