.....then why should we bother debating with you? You're barely watching the thing and bashing it. There's no few seconds of invincilbility. There's a boost where you can't jump and can't get knocked down but still take damage and can't do anything for 2 seconds when the boost wears off.

Can't really say that I'm impressed so far. The slasher variation without a doubt will be the most used because it's the only variation with his machete.

The "Jason can't die" variation is pretty cool but again no machete. NRS you had one job!

Where's the other weapons? Where's the ax and the crossbow? Jason's a lot more creative than that, c'mon guys.

Well excuuuuse the fuck out of me, some of us have to work for a living so I'm watching it on my laptop while doing paperwork. I heard the 'tink, tink, tink' of that invincible armor shit and figured that's what it was.

As for shitting on it, never said it was a bad thing so don't put words in my mouth. What I said was it was gimmicky. That can be good OR bad, never said it was one or the other.

I just don't see myself using the other variations if only ONE has the damn machete. Another reason why I hate the shit out of these variations.

lol First off, I really don't care what you call me out on, it's personal preference and opinion. I think the fact he has 'gimmicks' is lame, has nothing to do with whether or not his actual gameplay is bad. You may not think its a gimmick, guess what, that's the beauty of opinions. He's fucking Jason, he doesn't need gimmicks like some lame ass extra health at the end of matches that only noobs are gonna use as false hope and only a few actual impressive players will use to their advantage.

Secondly, no one here can deny that Jason has several straight up gimmicks just to simply attract attention to him and get players to play him. His name alone should be able to do that and it stinks to high heaven of just trying to shift DLC, which is dumb imo.

Well Jason's machete is his go-to weapon but that's not the only thing he does.

I think he has just been made to feel like Jason instead of a mortal kombat character that looks like Jason. Yeah, it's "gimmicks" that belong only to him but they're needed or else he wouldn't have been as interesting, at least for a non casual.

It's still his signiture weapon, though. People know Jason for his hockey mask and his machete. That's like if they pit Freddy in this game and stripped him from his glove in two of his variations.

I agree. Overall I am really happy with how Jason turned out in MK, but I agree that he probably should have had his machete in at least 2 variations.

No its not the thing he uses to kill people, but it is his most used and most recognizable weapon. That's like putting Leatherface in the game and giving him his chainsaw in only 1 variations lol

To me, he always assumed he is on a whole 'nother level above Tyler in the game, and even when a match was close you could see how he sorta rubbed it in Tyler's face, and assumed it was only close because he let it be.

I was really hoping Tyler would win a couple in a row so we could all see him get frustrated with losing, and we finally got it!

Every time I win about 4 matches in a row when my opponent has a higher "Win percent chance" I think I will imagine them doing what Derek did throughout that stream form now on.

Maybe I am an asshole, but there is a certain type of satisfaction when you beat someone like that!

What I want to know why did they say there was gonna be some details on new skins and then they conveniently forgot to mention it at the end of the stream.

I agree with @KenshiMaster. The resurrection variation does seem like a huge gimmick. Who the fuck wants to lose ALL of their meter every round? As far as I know there isn't an option to not get resurrected. That's a huge disadvantage as far as I'm concerned, that variation seems useless.
