3 Styles of the 3d era wasn`t a problem, the clunky gameplay wasn`t fluid.

I'm genuinely curious, because I've never heard "lol you need to get laid" from someone that's over the age of 18.

And the person I said needs to stop complaining hasn't had any praise in like the year since I've had an account here. Again, It's completely ok to complain about some stuff. But when you have only complaints for the last year it sticks out. I mean in an entire year I've never seen the person say anything other than shit like "Uhhh more let downs". And I wasn't even shitting on him like you called it, I just asked why he even bothers to come here.

If the game was so disappointing to me that in a year of all the reveals I can't say any positive things, I wouldn't come here. Then he said he doesn't even really play MK at all anymore in the netherkast. I just can't understand why you would bother to waste the time to even post on this site if it was all so disappointing and you don't even care to play the games.

Haha jesus christ I said it's ok to complain and don't know where I said how much I love the game. All I fucking said was if all you do is complain over a year about how disappointing a game is why do you bother to come to a forum dedicated to that game. I complain all the time but it's not the only thing I do.

Hey don't think I'm singling you out, I didn't reply to your post. Just a strange thing I'm noticing in the midst of these arguments that pop up.

I think this month and last is the loudest and most opinionated I've been but I do love the things I don't hate. For example:

-Reptile is the best Reptile has ever been in personality, story and looks. Seriously if I could just gush about all the good things they're doing with him lately. Although I hope they're not doing all this just to kill him.

-Despite the lips (They're ok I just want an alternate with Tarkatan Teeth and damn if it makes sense or not) I think they made her moveset so much better than the simple but effective one she had in 9.

-The Outworld four are some of the best new characters in more than a fucking decade.

-Fujin looks great, Baraka looks great (coughPutThemInAsDLCcough).

But If my negativity gets to you well then I'm sorry but get over yourself because your positivity doesn't get to me at all. You like Jacqui? Cool but I thinks she's boring as fuck. Check out Ms. Exciting over here with a grey tanktop for an alternate costume.

There are things I really like and shit I really don't like and I'm loud about both.

Oh, sure, going into every discussion and repeating like a broken record "This is bad, I don't like it" is a way to awesome discussion!!
If you think so, I am doubting, if you had any normal discussions in your life, at all.

As for the person in question: I know him for quite a time. More than you do, obviously, otherwise you wouldn't go all salty about this. For the last year he constantly stated that he disliked direction of the series, disliked most characters and other decisions made by developers. All this pretty much without saying anything positive about game or series as a whole. He admitted that there are some things he likes, however, 90% of his posts devoted to pathetic drivel of "how MK is ruined, because it's not like it used to be or should be (in his head)", which make his statements twice as strange / fun / whatever.

When a person constantly repeats itself stating the same thing over and over again, if you are rational person, sooner or later you start questioning "Is this guy for real? Why is he keep doing that?". And there are not many compelling answers to that question.

If I was disatissfied with something to the point of hating almost everything about it, I wouldn't be wasting my time to hang around the place, where people still like it. Just that simple.

I feel the same for the most part. I don't care about people not liking everything because I don't like everything (Jacqui is boring as fuck). All I was saying was Chrome has done nothing but complain for near a year so I asked why he even bothers to come here.

I swear I remember him praising Ferra/Torr, D'Vorah, Kotal and Cassie because they were new designs and not tired and true trilogy characters.

Some people are just afraid of different opinions.
If someone feels a certain way they should be able to discuss how they feel about it, because thats what forums were created for...

Plus the dark ominous setting with the rain is kind of like The MK4 Wind World.

I dont get why people get so bent out of shape so easily... people are always gonna hate things others like and like things others hate... If you guys get this bent out of shape about opinions on a video game, it makes me wonder how you get through life on a daily basis... Without negativity, things do not get improved on.

For the record heres what I hate:
- 3 variations... MK9 was such a smash hit because NRS finally went back to 1 style... Again (like they do a lot) they took something everyone was thrilled that was finally back, and changed it back to something worse
- The "dash" system or whatever you wanna call it looks TERRIBLE in animation (like shinnok and cage)... guys seems to be magically sliding all over the screen like they are fighting on ice -- again, MK9 running was great, but NRS changed it for the worse
- The roster... Quit cramming SF down our throats. If you wan SF stick with just Sonya & Cage... If your going with kids, give us Cassie & Jaq... There is absolutely no reason for 2 families and 5 charcters in SF - SF is easily the least popular of an "clan" in this game

Not everyone always gets their fav characters, I didnt get Mileena for awhile and thats fine, but no one can seem to figure out WTF NRS was thinking when they picked this roster - esp after the whole "dead is staying dead" propaganda.

To exclude the likes of Reiko, Noob, Smoke & Fujin is mind boggling...

And lastly another thing I hate is 1/2 assed faces... Why does Quan Chi & Shinnoks faces look incredible with details... beautifully done, then Raiden, Sonya and other look like plastic dolls with no details at all (facial creases, etc)... Chapter 1, Raiden looks like glistening gloss coated plastic, while in the same exact scene Chi & Shin look amazingly detailed... I dont get why they put extra effort in some design details and let other go to waste... Thats a MAJOR gripe for me...
