Two of Kenshi's variations are essentially the same thing. And you apparently get telekinesis in only one variation. Rather disappointed.

-Sonya is meh as hell.

His mileena sure does seem better. I like how they are getting more comfortable doing the streams. They seem more real.

Kenshi impressed me. However Sonya was very bland to me. Anyone else noticed mournful Kitana dressed like Jade.

Not really liking Sonya's variations, her first is definately her best for me. Not too keen on the grenade or drone shenanigans.

Kenshi was great though. So great to hear him speaking this time around.

I knew that I'd try Kenshi out but I think I might try to main that third variation they showed. Looks really cool, in my opinion. They Sky Temple stage also looked amazing. That stage and Krossroads are my favorites so far. I can't wait to play this game at home on my TV because even the high quality setting on Twitch is not doing it justice.

Haha those costumes are pretty bad. I was kind of worried they would be really cool and I would have to bother with the mobile game.

Good stream. I like Kenshi, though his first two variations are too similar and not that impressive. His third variations seems the best to me. Design is awesome, love his X-ray and his fatality is fucking epic. The only fatality I don't like is Kung Lao's second fatality. Other than that, this game has the best fatalities of any MK game.

Sonya... No matter what they do, I don't like her. Still the overrated useless rosterwasting character. Just the thought that that could have been Reiko, Shang Tsung, Havik, Cyrax, or even Frost pisses me off. Moving on.

Sky temple looks sick, one of my favorite stages by far. Now, bring on prince Goro

Wow seems like people do not like sonya other 2 variations.

I'm in love with the Sky Temple arena. It's such an eye candy and one of the reasons I'm choosing the White Lotus faction.

But come on, NRS, you couldn't make a simple stage fatality where the opponent gets hit by a lightning? Really? So MANY wasted opportunities with THAT particular stage.

With all the variations, I'm starting to wonder and fear if this won't in time become the MvC2 of MK, wherein you'll get five specific character variations which cannot be topped, far above a sea of mediocrity. They're going to have to do a ton of tweaking and balancing. Patches into late this year in all likelihood.

Other thoughts:

-Kind of interesting that they mentioned that they "Can't talk about future DLC plans." That actually seemed pretty serious. I think it's a guarantee we'll be getting a second wave of characters, judging by that.

-Fuck I love me some MKDA Kenshi representation.

-Ferra/Torr seem to have an eye on replacing D'Vorah in Kotal's court, perhaps. Interesting...

-I don't think you're gonna be seeing a lot of casual Sonya players. She seems too complex in those last two variations for casuals to lean towards.

For me the highlight was the stage! Sky Temple looks amazing!

If you going to act like something is confirmed, why did you leave out one stage? The leaked list had one more stage: Warriors Katakomb

The first variation they showed off seems very similar to her MK9 variant and I'm pretty sure casuals will use it and spam the hell out of her rainbow kick (or whatever its called) like they did in MK9.

Don't forget Shao Kahn's Tomb and 2 variations of The Wu Shi Academy. The leaked list is yet to be proven legit.

Because the leaked list isn't 100% proven yet and the arenas had 13 available squares. I'm just listing what's based on proven fact at this point. They could be true and could be in the game, but until then, that looks like our list.
