How many Characters did Injustice Mobile launch with?

I predict MKX Mobile will launch with around 12 Characters and we'll see gameplay of about 8 today with Kenshi highlighted the most.

Yes but remember what a mess MK4 was when it first hit arcades? They released it in versions... the first had Noob... then he was replaced by Reiko... There was no Sub-Boss... And the main badguy had absolutely no moves of his own... he stole everything and didn't even change how he looked when he did it... They really had no idea what they were doing when releasing mk4... which is why Shinnok was playable from the get-go

Boon just confirmed on Twitter that the entire stream ISN'T about mobile and that there will be 'LOTS' of console character gameplay.

Kenshi has a costume with the Kombat Pack released on launch day. He's playable, they just announced him in a weird way. He's the only one who still hasn't been seen in console gameplay footage.

That, and whoever the last boss is. I'm thinking nobody getting a variation breakdown will be the unlockable character.
