I plan on entering the fighting scene for MKX,

of course just for fun since I doubt i'll be good enough to actually be anything special, but I thinkit would be fun to enter tournaments win or lose.

For MK9 I won my game stop turny, I played as Smoke on top of that. I hope they do it again for MKX.

We also had na tournament at the Gamestop for the Midnight release of MK9. Pretty sure that was across the board.

I didn't go to the one for MK9 but I will for MKX. Pretty sure i'll body everyone there lol hopefully with Fujin.

You know, I meant to IM you about this last week. My local Gamestop is still "unsure" on if they're even having a release party....ummm wtf? Guy told me they had a lot of pre-orders so why is it "unsure"?

Best guess is that it's something that isn't planned until about a month or so ahead of time, but I figured I should ask nonetheless.

Depending on the game, you can tell which ones will have a tournament or midnight release.

I'm pretty much know as the "MK Guy" at work, so I'm the conductor of the "MK Hype Train" in my area. Haha

Yeah I can't see ours not doing one when they did for MK9. Plus I feel like MKX has already surpassed MK9 when it comes to hype levels. We've had worldwide trends on Twitter (Including REPTILE! :D), numerous foreign articles, and I've just seen and heard a lot more about MKX than I did about MK9 leading up to it's release. Even from casuals.

And I bet you're the lucky foo who gets to take home those promotional posters. :P

Also, how do you guys determine prizes? MK9's tourny was a $25 Gamestop gift card, but I've heard others say they won $50 or got the game for free basically.
