Obviously, it's not a confirmation of the game, but their reactions to it when asked about it are quite interesting, you must admit. Seems that it's a little more than "pure rumor mill". Anyhow, while it may seem unlikely that it comes out in 2 weeks with no "official" notice, I wouldn't call it impossible. Again, we shall all wait and see until it's proved one way or the other.

It is or was being made, I know that for fact. That isn't even a question. The only question now is whether it's been delayed (and if so, whether it's being toned down to a series of ports - pray that isn't the case), or canceled outright (not bloody likely - they're going to want to whet consumers' appetites with some old-school MK before 2011 comes out).

And how do you know "for a fact" it was being made? Do you know someone that works at Netherealm?

As with any industry, that of the videogaming world is like a web. Strands leading everywhere. Word gets around. Info travels. I'd like to elaborate further on this, I really would, but it ain't gonna happen. Suffice it to say that more than anyone, I am really hoping this doesn't turn out to be just a collection of ports.

Now this is getting to the point where people won't be excited. Instead of saying "YES! HD KOLLECTION!" everybody will say, "It's about damn time!" They might as well just finally confirm it now.

No, MKShizz. It was supposed to be released on the 16th or 17th, and there's been nothing. Personally I wouldn't hope for anything until it's formally announced - which it never was. I know it's coming, but I think this was a case of info being leaked way way waaaay earlier than it should have been.

As I said in the other thread...according to IGN's website MK:HD Kollection will not be released until 2011 and the date is TBA (to be announced).

Any ideas what they might be talking about? I'm not saying it's about the HD Kollection, but at this point, what else would truly surprise us? Also, around the time of the "leak", they started hinting at stuff and using the "#EndlessTease" hashtag.

Haven't checked it out yet, but I can tell you. With all the current rumors going around about this said kollection, I won't be surprised if it is true. Seeing as how I got a Kollection pack last year with Deception, Shaolin Monks, and Armageddon for PS2. I would be surprised however if this kollection goes to PS2. I have had doubts about it going to the PS3. Maybe like sticking to it's roots supposedly. If it does go to PS3, I have nothing to fear. I'll just get a PS3.

It'll be in high definition, so I'm thinking it has to be on PS3. Actually, I have no doubt it'll be on PS3. Why would they make a game for an old system? My advice to you is, if you're planning on playing this game when it comes out.... buy a PS3.

I hope it comes out soon or else I'm buying a SNES. Just to satisfy the craving, I bought a copy of MK Trilogy and bought MK2 from the PS Network. I wish they had MK Trilogy on the PS Network, I'd probably buy that too for shits and grins.

He's my logic: I don't know if Nintendo DSs have a certain life cycle from New to Death, but I can tell you if this comes on the PS3, I won't touch another Nintendo DS in my life. All they seem to do when I do pick up a new one is they die!! Got one in April, died. One in August, died.

Here's what I don't get, I had a white one that lasted me from 2006-2009. Yeah that pretty good life. Got a lot accomplished with it too, that was before UMK for the DS came out. Why did the others just die when the first one I had lasted so long?

Short and Simple: I will not touch another Nintendo DS if this Kollection comes out. I will have a copy of UMK for the DS, but will be more interested with the copy on the PS3.

I have a PS2 on hand with 3 games that I am working on right now, so I can squeeze in a little gameplay from time to time if it does happen to come out on PS2 (but now realizing that it will be in HD, it would make sense to be on something better like the PS3).

Sigh...is this game ever going to happen???

I really dont understand why everyone is still freaking out about this. The only info we got about it was that a bunch of videogame retailers posted a release date of around Thanksgiving time which obviously wasnt true.

I would not be surprised if they are holding out the release of this game till April to release it along side MK 9

Once you're a few rounds into the arcade ladder, where the AI really starts getting reactive, wait for the opponent to get near, then jump backward. After a second, they'll jump back too. That's when you hit them, and that's how you break the game. :)

Yeah.. uh... that date's been out there for quite a while now and is obviously a filler. The fact that the game has not been officially announced yet means it may *never* get released. Usually, games that have a remote chance of seeing the light of day get announced (sometimes even up to a year in a advance). This game? Not so much. I would absolutely love for it to be released, but all things considered, I'm beginning to have my doubts.

What happened to that story that was posted on the website earlier today about the resume that confirmed the game? Was that BS, so they took it down or wut?

The guy removed the entry from his resume because the crazy (and inconsiderate) MK Kommunity sent him a million emails hounding him for information. When will people learn?

Really? Well, I don't blame him. And I noticed his phone number is listed. So I wouldn't be surprised if people were rude enough to call him regarding the game.

Must have been a serious invasion of personal privacy if even MKO had to take down the news bulletin and attached topic discussing it.

Either that, or WB came around with the big old hammer and kept telling people to pretend the game doesn't/didn't exist.
