Ubisoft just announced The Prince of Persia Collection for a 19th of November realease...remember the very same site that had the MK Kollection Boxart also had the Prince Collection Boxart. I would expect an announcement real soon.

MK9 demo in Nov, BELIEVE!

Yeah, well, WB Games needs to get off their asses and announce it officially already. Enough of this "cloak and dagger" bullshit. We know more about a game coming out in 5-6 months than we do about a game coming out in one month. Am I missing something? confused

Its just funny that no one and their mom can find any sort of screen shot for this game other than the so called box art cover. I have no idea if its real or not or if all those companies fell for the biggest joke ever and listed a game that is not even true lol.

I hope its true but I for the life of me cant figure out why WB cant even announce or say its not true.

Hell its just a little over a month away from the RUMORED release date and we have gotten nothing at all. If the game is true then this is horrible marketing EVER for a game imo.

I'd agree, but it could also be consider brilliant advertising. Think about it, they haven't spent a penny on advertising yet everyone knows about it.

Also, while there will be new, updated graphics, the games will technically be the same as they were so many years ago. No new characters, levels, fatalities, etc. There will most likely be a couple extras here and there, but the game will play the same.

What exactly needs to be advertised anyway? It's not as if we don't know pretty much what to expect. Also, I see no major issue officially announcing it with only a month before release. Hype will be fresh, rather than when a game is announced months in advance and then it's forgotten (again, this isn't technically a new game, just a "polished" old game, or games).

I really dont understand why they didnt include TRILOGY and only included MK1, MK2 and UMK3.
i would prefer TRILOGY instead of UMK3. now this doesnt feel complete.

imagine , you can NEVER play specific matches, for example Sheeva Vs Baraka :(

The game is called Mortal Kombat HD "ARCADE" Kollection for a reason. Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 all were first released in arcades (remember those???). Trilogy was a home console and PC exclusive.

Trilogy was also broken as all hell. Rain and Noob Saibot in particular were infamous for their stupidly easy 100% damage combos. Can you imagine playing with them online? The game would require MAJOR rebalancing for online play.

Still not sure why they don't just rebalance the shit out of MKT, add on more characters from the first two games and release it. I mean, that in HD would be killer if it wasn't possible or atleast so easy to pull an infinite wall combo. I hope this is not just a rumor. I would really like to see a revitalized Klassic MK with HD flavor.

I actually like this idea to remake the classics. I will thoroughly enjoy this game if it does come out soon.

Thanks for the information and I will keep my fingers crossed!!!

Ok, why is most of you so hostile in here? No need for sarcasm. We are calling this MK Kollection for quite some time, so i didnt remember the Arcade thing in the title, take it easy. And i dont know if trilogy was in arcades or not, because in my country, they stopped bringing arcades a long time ago, the were forbidden. It was really rare to find MK3 and so on, never knew about the new releases plus internet was not available back then. Besides, its not confirmed yet so we dont know the official title, do we????
I still think they could make a mode that looks like trilogy or something, cause its a shame to have characters like Baraka and Nightwolf in the same disk and never get to play them together in a match...

Sorry you misunderstood my post, I meant no harm by it and, for once, didn't intend it to be taken sarcastically (at least no in a hostile way, as you took it). Also, you're right, it hasn't been 'officially' confirmed, but the proposed box art has been leaked online with the title as well as many store's upcoming release lists naming it.

Although that would be cool with Trilogy in the package. It may not be an arcade classic (since the arcade went from UMK3 to MK4 next).

I used to play Trilogy with a friend, but didn't own the actual game. I would like to own the game brand spankin' new. If it were a part of the kollection, it would probably be the most played game in the kollection. Next to UMK3, and MK2

The release date is supposedly November 16th, so being that is exactly two weeks away, but still no announcement, I have my doubts.

I have doubts as well, but considering the game is STILL listed as being released on the 16th, I'm not sure what to believe. Honestly, since I'm fairly certain WB knows whether the game is ready or not, they would be wise to remove it from said lists if it weren't. Since it's still on the lists, I'd think it's still scheduled for release. Perhaps today is the day we finally get a confirmation or denial. At this point, I don't really care which one it is, as long as we know one way or the other.

Even I have to admit I'm worried. I'm just really hoping it's been delayed and not turned into a collection of 3 yawn-worthy ports. Their not officially announcing it may be a blessing; if they're willing to take their time and make it look as it should, I can wait for as long as it takes.

The only problem I see is that they aren't going to want to release it too close to MK2011. If they don't release it this month or early December, I fear it might not be until late next year. Mid-November is an ideal date because it's still close to half a year away from their main release, MK2011. Otherwise, you'll have 2 games competing with each other, and that's never a good thing.

I'd say even January for February's good too, actually. Release it a few months in advance, close but not too close, and you attract more folks to the franchise who may wanna stick around to see the new stuff. I wouldn't call it stiff competition.

And even if it is after MK2011 comes out? Yeah, I could wait that long, too. If all I wanna do is play arcade perfect MK arcade ports online, I can always hop on Kalliera. I want this to be special.

A message on the 2011 site shown after the recent countdown says "Brutal things come to those who wait". Maybe that's for those of us who can be patient when it comes to MKHD. I'd like to think so.

I've said it before and I will say it again. I just think this is pure rumor mill that has been stirred up by fans to where everything thinks its real. Yeah, TRMK "confirmed" it but even reliable sources can be wrong.

I still think it doesn't exist. And even if it does, no way in fuck hell is it coming out in 2 weeks with ZERO notice. C'mon guys, get real.
