Wait so how does the game work? Do you have to unlock characters or do you kinda select one to start off with at random?

I obtained Johnny, but I don't know how. Do you get a character randomly after you level up so much, or finish a specific challenge?

Does anyone know how you get supports from other people?

Finally got it to work on the girlfriends iPad. Fun but cant see myself playing past getting the costumes unless mobile exclusive characters are added, which is a high probability at this rate.

I have also stopped having the option of an ally now. I got the error message about connection problem and not being online once. I signed into my WBID again just for it to say its already connected. I have a feeling this has gotta be linked to the lack of silver coins/ally strike

Welp, now I'm stuck. Kotal boss with the totems is damn near impossible without an assist. Character recharging is frustrating...

Same issues. When I try to log on I get error code 4 and error code 0 and stuff like that. Then my email address and password turn red and it says they're invalid. WTF...

Still no allies. Although it might make sense that they'd stop after a while, the glossary definition of ally under the options menu seems to indicate that you'll always be able to select an ally before a battle. Not 100% sure though. Just a guess.

Either way, I hope they get a FAQ up soon and get shit fixed. I don't even know if what I'm unlocking right now means anything because j can't get my email synced with my profile name.

Oh yeah, I thought I'd try and see if there were any support threads on Netherealm's forum, like from the devs or mods or whatever and I can't even get their website to come up. I'm starting to worry about the launch of the actual console game. Really hope this doesn't become an AC: Unity type of launch...

EDIT2: Well, assists appear to be back, but now when you win, it never gets past the load screen. You can hit cancel, but you don''t get any rewards. So the game is officially broken now.
EDIT3: And they're gone again. Game still freezes on victory. Welp, I guess we're done here for a while.

Just got to Kotal Kahn. Holy hell...

He never hit me. I blocked every hit. Using Silver level Cage and Reptile and a bronze Saurian all at level 18, I got absolutely destroyed.

Whoever at NRS says there aren't pay walls in these free to play games is completely full of shit. I should've learned my lesson after the Injustice game.

I beat it after about the 3rd try. Attack more, don't worry about the block as much, doesn't take much damage off.

Same thing except silver scorp, reptile, and lin kuei. EDIT: They did say that you will need to grind, in most cases I refuse to pay for freemium games, I think this game is grindable. Go back and do some easier towers to level up

Same happened for me. I ended up deleting the app while keeping my memory in the Game Center. Then re downloaded and did the tutorial again. After that I logged into my wbplay and it brought my info back and worked.

May sound dumb but how do you block in the mobile app??

Yeah I'll keep grinding. Thanks for the advice! I guess the choke points are a bit on the crazy side, but I'll have to get used to it.

On a side note.., My characters were recharging and I left the game when they were at 8:45 and then came back a few minutes later and they were at... 9:15?

Lol no problem.... Its that long until the little block of energy they are one refills. Your character must have regenned at least 1 block of energy in that time, I think it takes 10 minutes for each block and there are 10 blocks so just under 2 hours for a full charge .

And yeah, I've played Injustice and Immortals quite a bit and have never payed so I know my way around the mobile grind lol. But with Kotal and then a couple towers later I had trouble with the final team again. It does seem much more difficult than the other two games, I blame it on the lack of swipe for heavy attack mechanic! EDIT: hold down two fingers to block

omg I can't take this no gold cards and I can get past the second tower on the third bracket. Where it saiyan Mexicano when you need him on Facebook. He helped me unlock everything from injustice for the console.

What sort of moves do the generic blokes have?

Generic moves.

Shirai Ryu has a kunai attack, Lin Kuei has a "mist" attack, and many of their tapping attack are very similiar to their counter parts. Spec ops people shoot guns and monks do the Kung Lao throw which is a bunch of punches to the face. I have yet to see any of their secondary special moves.... but quite generic and unexciting so far. However those are the bronze characters. All silver characters and gold characters are MK characters and only the gold characters can do X-ray attacks.

I'm guessing the generics have no Fatalities, either, then.

I have yet to see a fatality by anyone but a gold character. Some random towers have gold characters join your team and I did Sonya's fatality.
