Honestly the girl from the factions picture looks a lot like Sonya but Cassie looks a lot like Sonya.

Awesome, however way too much jumping to conclusions but guess they did this on purpose since Ed Boon loves it.

Here's what I think everybody should take from this so far:

- BRUTALITIES are back, clear as day, no argument and I love it!! Cannot wait to see how they do it, I'm sure we will see characters perform different types and we get to see the X-ray with bones breaking etc.

- Sonya's photo is in one version of the video representing the Special Forces faction. Since she is in the comic as a commander, this is far from a confirmation she is playable!

- Kitana has moves from Jade, 99% confirmation she is dead and will not appear as playable.

- Cyrax bombs and Rain's bubble are mentioned, but since Rain has been deconfirmed by Boon as playable, the judge is out on Cyrax being in. Could just be a tribute to them, like with Jade. I fear the Tartakans involvement with portals, could mean the end for Baraka...We can speculate on other characters getting moves / weapons and such from similar characters as a tribute as well.

- A new character in the Living Towers, 90% sure it's the bow character and he looks quite mysterious. I like it!

Very uncertain:
- Mileena, Jax, Lui Kang in the Living Towers and all the other names thrown out there. Those videos and screencaps are vague as hell but sure you can speculate.

I hope that Sonya is just an alt costume for Cassie. Otherwise that's really shitty.

A lot of 45 years old women (and people in general) look fantastic these days. We eat healthier, smoke less and exercise more.

Agreed on all counts except Sonya being playable. I agree she doesn't necessarily have to be, but considering the other faction leaders are Sub Zero, Kano, Quan and Raiden, it would be odd if she was the only one who wasn't playable. I think she'll be main roster to be honest, not that I'm happy about it. At the very least, she's virtually assured to be DLC

Looks like Quan Chi has Shao Kahn's armor as well as the hammer that we saw before.

Cassie is almost a golden statue, so I think the gray colour is just a thing. It really seems like it's Shinnok, but I think it's Liu.
