Scorp and Sub are the faces of MK. Especially Scorp. They're on the 10th game now. If you havent accepted that then that's your fail. Its not changing.

I don't know. The hypest I've seen people for a MK trailer was MKD and that was Mileena and Baraka

I loved the star treatment Mileena & Baraka received in Deception. They totally upstaged Sub and Scorp in the promos.

I'm not debating what got people hyped up the most--though I do remember the MKD teaser, first the image of Baraka and then the trailer some time later.

I'm simply stating a fact by saying Scorpion and Sub-Zero are the series' best known characters, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to see them in the trailer.

Id love for Reptile and Rain to return as well but Reptile didn't die and Rain is very highly requested.

Yeah new characters, but we are gonna see a lot of Scorpion vs Sub-Zero, which is boring.

I can understand why they do that but I agree that MKD with Baraka and Mileena in the trailers was awesome. Why can't they advertise some of the newer characters in the trailers though? Tekken does it all the time. Alisa, Lili, Jaycee, that other Spanish guy, are all newcomers to the series but they choose to show them in their promo stuff. I wouldn't be mad if we got a trailer like the anouncement one but instead of Scorp and Subs, having 2 totally new characters battling it out.

i see a lot of fans hoping for Tremor! it was a nice surprise on the vita i admit that. wish he had a full moveset mind :)

Misleading. It's not a new engine, it's Unreal Engine 3. There might be some new middle ware, but it's the same old stuff. Not that it's a bad thing.

Unreal 3 is a solid engine.

This emo injustice styled gameplay is gone too far with yestersday stream. Seriously nobody saw how gay liu kang shots his "fairy dust"? ?lol. My hype meter went from 8 to zero with what i saw at this last stream. That animation speaks for the entire design team.

@ed boon mk is gonna die real quck if youre not gonna change your design team. The swag nrs has is very very lame, and ruined mk for me and i bet manny other "real" fans of the series.
