Hi everyone,

being a fan of MK's series since my GameBoy (ugh that wasn't yesterday...) I came up now to be a dad and play this game with my wifey who's now kicking my ass for her greatest pleasure :) (and now she knows Kitana's back, she can't wait...)

But my question is, is there an official anouncement that Tag Teams Mode is going to be confirmed/unconfirmed ? cause let's be honest, we play that game mostly on Tag mode cause we love pairing up in games and that last MK9 was just great for that.

So sorry in advance, I tried to find a thread speaking about this topic and couldn't find in this awedome Kommunity.

If you guys have any hint regarding this, thanks to let me(us) know !

So true! I was devastated when I found tag was not going to be in, the only way I can get my wife to play is if she's on my team

It was a great feature that will be missed, hopefully they will add it post DLC maybe but I doubt it

yep i see i'm not the only one in that case !! after looking other forums people tended to say that the fact that there are 3 combat styles makes it very hard to manage such associations with all fighters, that testing all possible combinations will not be possible (above a 100) will make that at some point, few charcacters/combination would just overwhelm any other team and then people would just use those possible combinations/characters

it makes sense but c'mon ! that's what they are paid for right smile ? trying to find balance but indeed looks like a tough job to test all that.

I do hope like you that in DLC they would enable that feature but yeah... looks not in the trend of what they are planning, maybe MK XI ?

If it's not included, I'll miss it. I'd say 90% of the time I played single player in MK9 I played tag. I liked the longer matches, having the option to switch up my strategy.

OP, that's really awesome that your wife is into MK! My wife is mortified by the few fatalities she's seen haha.

Honestly I really liked the gameplay of tag team and assits are pretty awesome and enjoyable during the fight and hoping for the return of the tag team...

It's a simple solution, have it as an offline feature only

Yeah... the bloodiest the better !! (ugh... that came out wrong)

She's fond of martial arts, herself a karate girl so fight games it's her thing and we love zombies/gore movie so yeah, good combo :)

she can't stop remembering me an online match where we were less than 10% health each with the last fighter in the other tag with almost half his health, that we landed in our last breath the tag combo/x-ray we were practicing for hours and ended with a 52% dmg and the win... that was quite awesome indeed

And I think you speak truth immortalkombat, looks simple to do on offline basis, but there's always more flavour when you pwne somebody else's a** :D

I would LOVE tag team. After all, the more the merrier. But I think there was only a TT mode in MK9 just to put more crap...you know what mean, anyway more stuff to put in MK9, so sadly I don't think it will come back.

I absolutely love tag team. It was great teaming up people you thought worked well together in the story and if only for the reason of making online matches last that much longer. I recall reading tag team wasn't included at the moment or something of that nature. Hugely disappointed.
