I think they should bring Motaro back as either a boss or an unlockable player. I used to enjoy fighting against him. They only had him in one little part in MK:D. And he is probably one of my favorite characters, because I was undefeatable when I was playing as him in MK Trilogy.

For story purposes I say they should keep Motaro dead. I thought it was very interesting the way Sheeva killed him, and in the end was killed herself.

The centaurs however should not be excluded from Mortal Kombat. However, instead of serving Shao Kahn like they did in Mortal Kombat 3, they should be out on their own. And their bitterness against the Shokan should be revealed from their point of view instead of Shao Kahn's.

Also, if they manage to keep Shao Kahn's and Goro's storylines in the Game Cube version of MKD. Then the Centaurs could come back as a force for good, well not entirely good but their motives would go along with Earthrealm's to take out Shao Kahn.

I'm in two minds about Motaro. Having a Centaur fighter was a good idea, and he was something unique (still is), but the character himself came out badly imo. He was barely mobile, easy to beat, and had to rely on 4 or 5 cheap, simple moves to win (which is why he was easy to play as in MKT).

I wouldn't mind if they gave him another chance, or brought a new Centaur in, but there needs to be big improvements. I don't really see him coming back though, aside from Goro, sub bosses don't really make comebacks.
I want to see a Centaur in a future MK so bad!

Give him a lot of moves though, like a normal fighter, not just 5 attacks.

Make him fight like a skilled warrior, not like an Ape like every other large MK sub boss.
