This mysterious girl will surely be a new character in MK11/MKX2 because in MKX's story mode Kitana says '...invade the Heavens and destroy the Elder Gods'. Jade would probably be re-imagined with new ability's/weapons/powers but then again they could give these new ability's/weapons/powers to a new character.
Thoughts?

How does what Kitana said relate to this mysterious girl at all?

I'm just putting 2 and 2 together, and probably ending up with 5 lol but I think she will play a part in the plot. To me she seems like a character you'll bump into on your way to Heaven.

It's an interesting idea but I don't see it being a Centerpoint if it returns at all. Arcade endings are rarely canon and the fact that it received a slight nod in kitana's mkx ending does littlee to confirm it. Additionally I doubt jade would ever be a character core to the storyline and they might not want to spend too much time on something like this unless it was important.
Additionally I don't understand why dome people think that because jade is missing, she will return. If they wanted a character to never return, what would they be in the next game? Probably missing.
Please note, I don't hate jade I just find this plot line a little dull and some jade logic far-fetched.

I don't consider myself a Jade fan though. I'm just intrigued by the mysterious woman. I believe she should be like Poison Ivy (Nature/plant powers like DCUO), and that's why I want her to be playable in MK11/MKX2. It would be cool to watch her go face-to-face with D'Vorah imo.

Blaze.
I miss the days when the arcade endings gave hints towards the next game. The Brotherhood of Shadow in MK3, Dragon King in DA, etc..
I hope the mysterious woman fron Jades MK9 ending becomes real because I love the foreshadowing of it.
Plus it makes NRS seem like they actually have a plan lol.

I proposed an idea that in this version of the timeline, that's the Dragon king, choosing Jade as his vessel instead of Reptile.

Jade's absence from MKX and the revelation that she may be the vessel for a warrior goddess speaks worlds. There's no reason why she should be absent, when EVERY character that died in the first game was represented as a revenant in MKX.
I think they are setting her up for something. Jade and Noob, both of whom should be frontline warriors for the Brotherhood of Shadow, are both missing? Something's up.

When MK9 came out, I always assumed the mysterious woman was nothing more than a red herring NRS cooked up to give Jade an ending, and that ultimately, they probably had few ideas for her (if any), and the story would probably go nowhere and be forgotten, like so many other Mortal Kombat endings.
Her complete and utter absence in MKX just makes that assumption feel justified and/or vindicated.

Perhaps it has something to do with the Dream Realm that Tremor visited. He tells Mileena that she's reborn there in one of their intros. And that alternate universe type thing is mentioned in Kitana's ending where we see Jade. The mysterious woman also wanted to play with the timeline in Jade's ending by reimagining Shao's death. I definitely think they're setting Jade up for something in the future and I'm excited to see what it is.

How do you get from "mysterious dream lady in a cave wearing bright gold/brown" to "plant powers"? Is this just you wanting a mother nature type character and trying to stick to the first NPC you saw? It just seems like a huge leap in logic.
Well Noob was sucked into a Soulnado that blew up and was never seen again. Reiko and Tanya in the new timeline stayed in Outworld apparently (Edenia was never freed and the NetherRealm war was with Earthrealm only)

She doesn't need to come back.
She's not a plant.
She's in an arcade ending that went absolutely nowhere.
I don't think we're going to see her lovely face any time soon. Thank goodness for that.

Yeah the way you answer reminds me of a guy who was banned like 3 times. Multiple threads for new character ideas, certain threads ending with discuss/discussion, having already existing characters and give them something different despite the fact no one agrees with you.

I want her to be more unique than 'stick a weapon on x character' like Mileena, Kitana, Tanya. This mysterious girl can be MK's Posion Ivy.
In every post i see you, you're trying to make powers to unknown characters or makea character based of a silly power...I want her to be more unique than 'stick a weapon on x character' like Mileena, Kitana, Tanya. This mysterious girl can be MK's Posion Ivy.
