Its kind of dissapointing that theres been no mention of GOOD NETCODE so far in this thread. Hopefully I missed something. Im a Sub-Zero fanboy to the end, but I'd give him up for phenomenal netcode anyday. I guess gameplay isn't that huge around here.

I'll be really disappointed if Kung Lao doesn't make it in, though I have a pretty damn good feeling he has a chance of making the roster even if he's not in the initial release. He could be a DLC.

@ DjangoDrag - I can't believe I forgot to mention a decent netcode since this is on the very top of my list. Same with WeaponTheory's game balance. To me personally, the gameplay is more important than the story

I would more say an interactive graphical novel or movie. If there's gameplay, it is a game, no matter how shitty it is.

As I've said before, the netcode will almost single-handedly determine this game's lifespan. Not to the story diehards, of course, but to the majority of players. MK9 had pretty bad netcode, and Injustice was marginally better. I really, really hope the guys at NRS are listening when people talk about the importance of GOOD netcode.

Shinnok as a playable character!
I will get really really pissed if they just skip his arc!

Hope they fix the online mode too!

PS: Kung Lao and Kitana, in my opinion will NOT be in the game! But 100% sure will be DLC.

Cinematics.

Naturally, also Reptile. Although it won't ultimately dull my enjoyment of the game, if there is no Reptile, it will still "bother" me. I mean, he is my favorite after all.

And if MK4 era is made insignificant on the grander scale, I'll be "bothered".

Cinematics are my biggie, but the disappointment of the other two would also linger.

Another thing that would bother me is if Scorpion didn't say "Get over here!" AND "Come here!" in MKX. I don't think he did in MK9, and I know it's a small detail, but it's the little things ya know?
