About the revelation that Kung Lao being in MKX. I personally don't like it and disappointed, even with aged progression and the hat variations. I was hoping for someone new.

About Kung Lao allegedly die in MK9 and shouldn't be in MKX. Many of you are upset about this. But you are presuming that all the events depicted in MK9 story mode is 100% accurate and canon. After konquest mode in Armageddon, many thought Taven defeated Blaze was accurate and canon. But as we learn later, Shao Kahn was actually the one that defeat Blaze. So the MK team could simply not include Kung Lao among the MK9 casualties.

I can't speak for everyone, but I'm pretty sure tomorrow's cast is going to be hat-heavy. :)

Now I wonder what they will do to top his millsaw fatality, that one was completly awesome and in top of MK9 rankings with the "scarecrow" and "make a wish".

Of all the returning characters shown so far, I like Lao's look the best and his variations seem to be the most fun, at least from the descriptions.

I don't give a shit about MK's story anymore so I'm very happy he's back. They don't even have to explain how he's back as far as I'm concerned.



LOL! I believe she'll be back. I believed from the start, but now that Kung Lao (who looks badass) is back, I believe in Kitana's return even more.

Also a nice new detail on Kung Lao's design, in one of the images where he's doing the divekick, you can notice that he now has a braided ponytail. That's freaking sweet, always wanted to see him like that ever since that concept for him in Shaolin Monks:

Glad that he is back and yes, truly unexpected. Just wondering if he has his teleport in all variations or just in 1 or 2?

I just hope the character reveal in Games Master is not going to also be Kung Lao. That would just be sad.

GREAT.

I'm liking his new look and he's finally a welcome addition to the returning characters side of things. Him returning definitely opens the possibility of ANY MK9 character to return. Pretty pumped.

Can't wait to see the next reveals. I just hope we see a few more new characters soon, we haven't had any fresh faces since E3.

That said I'm most excited about Kung Lao because now people can stop harping on that "they died in the last game" bull-dookie.

He looks great and has clearly aged normally since MK9. Also dat new hat.

I use to didn't like his new look but his saw hat is so freaking cool.

Very happy for the Kung Lao fans! I didn't really come around to him until MK:SM, and MK9 Kung was way fun as well.
