Is your "main" the same character from MK9 or a previous game?

Do you find yourself maining a character that you did not originally intend to?

Jax is still my main from MK9. Co-main is still Kano from MK9.

Great question OP. I had every intention of maining Ermac like I did in MK9. I haven't even touched him! Every character that I've tried has at least 1 variation that I'm comfortable with. It's awesome! I've mostly been maining Reptile of all characters, with a bit of Takeda, Kung Jin and Kano on the side.

In MK9 my mains were Sektor, Cyrax and Kitana but now as I am playing MKX I really like Kung Jin plus Ermac was always one of my favorites so I've been playing him too. My third is probably a tie between Kotal Kahn and shocker Cassie Cage. When I faced off against Shinnock I totally kicked is ass hardcore with her.

Sonya (Covert Ops) is still my main.
Loved Mileena as a character in MK series but didn't touch her in MK9. Love her (Ravenous) in MKX, she's my 2nd in command.
Gotta say I'm really enjoying Liu this time round as well.

I'm loving all of Sonya's variations. She plays even better than MK9, she is also pretty fast.

Covert Ops is very good, what really shines here is Military Stance. The Parry is good too, but only when there isn't lag.

Special Forces is great too, at first I didn't like the Drone but it's quite usefull, the tracking projectile and Kamikaze are very fun.

Demolition is amazing, reloading the grenades is quite easy and the wake up attack is very usefull.

I played Kano, Scorpion and Sub Zero as well but they are a little slow.

Sonya is bad ass as usual so she still ended up being my main like always.... but i gotta say both Jacquie and ferra/tor are not far behind her. These new comers are extremely fun. I haven't even touched mileena yet (she was my 3rd main in mk9 after stryker). After I feel comfortable with the 1st 3.. mileena will be locked in the danger room for some intense training.

My main is still Kung Lao. When I played MKX for the first time at GameStop during midnight release, I picked up on his combos really quickly. I never lost with him the entire time grin But at home I found myself playing with Sub-Zero more. He's the first character that I've actually learned how to set up "run" combos with. Gonna try that with Kung Lao today!

Never had a main before but I'm going with kenshi kenjutsu this time around. My other 2 I'm really liking are Sonya covert and jacqui shotgun.

Kitana is still my main but I'm also using Jacqui as an auxiliary main to replace Jade.

I was planning on maining D'vorah but I can't get ahold of her gameplay.

Kitana is still my main. Been pulling some nice 41% damage combos with her.

Kenshi and Raiden are my secondary fighters at this time.

Very disappointed in the way Kotal plays. I really wanted to main him as well. Anyone else feel the same way about him?

I have found myself maining Jacqui and I really did not expect that.

Smoke was my main in MK9 (also unexpected) so I couldn't main him obviously.

Johnny is always my go to guy but has become my second main in both games.

Shang was my main in most of my games but I've really warmed to Kano

I like the character but never played him as much in older games but love him now!

I don't think I really had a main in MK9. Sure, I spent the most time with Sonya and Jade according to the stats in the krypt, but it was so long ago I couldn't remember anything about it.

MKX, I've not really done anything except grind out faction kills for the rank 50 in all factions achievement. I did 4/5, switched to the last one just two hours ago, and I'm exhausted. I haven't really learned anything about anyone. I still won't be evaluating a possible main just yet. Can't put off life any longer and have stuff to do.

I'm maining Shinnok/Erron Black, tried out Johnny since I mained him in MK9 but he didn't really feel like my style for this game. I might try him again later but I think i'm going to try to focus on Shinnok/Erron Black/Goro for the time being.

It was Cyrax and I'm learning Kung Lao since I love is speed but kenshi and his kenjutsu vairation is looking to be my main.
