Reptiles storydriven alt

Well as mentioned in the live stream his "alt" will be storydriven. But in what form?

What I find interesting is, that is alt is far more human looking than his MKIX and his MKX primary.

This would mean that he evolved after MKIX but somehow went back in MKX.

So what do you think will happen in the comic, where he is using "his" alt... Which I actually find very strange.

Everyone is wearing his prime outfit just not Reptile.

Further more the steatement of Quan Chi that Reptile is the last of his kind... And with K/Chamelon stated to not be in in MKX as well, I doubt neither of them will ever appear again in a game. Do you think his race will still have a role and maybe that one female from his Armageddon ending could appear.

And why is he so loyal to Kotal? What has Kotal promised him?

I don't know about the costume itself relating to the story. I got the impression they were just gonna say something like "This is the costume he wore while he served Kota/during the outworld civil warl" or something like that. But then were like "ooo spoilers"

I think the first part of story mode involves the Netherrealm war since we're supposed to see Kotal's rise and fall and we know his alt is what he wears in the past I think we'll see quite a bit of it.

I wouldn't put much stock in his different physical appearance. Even the humans change drastically from game to game.
I wouldn't mind reptile getting a happy ending or winning for a change he always seems to get the short end of the stick his biggest achievement is having his body against his will being turned into a vessel for onaga.

As for him and Kotal its clear that reptile is more intelligent or ambitious this time and actually has a goal or plan that he wants to see achieved. Its no coincidence that Mileenas faction are all? outworld nationalists while kotals faction are all conquered realms within outworld.

Reptile is wearing that Alt in the comics. That's set around 15 years after MK9.

Pretty sure you will have to unlock his alt. I hate his default costume.

It's fine the way it is now. Have the alt from the comic as his alternate and the primary as the one from his reveal trailer with the ninja V as his main. Also, what does it matter anyway? just pick the other if you don't like one.
