I think it would be cool if Quan Chi turned Scorpion's wife into a spectre to use against Scorpion.

But it would only really work if her moves were nothing like Scorpion. I lot of people hate Frost just because she's a female Sub-Zero. So, the wife would have to be more than just a female Scorpion.

That's probably the best idea for a character I've ever heard. I think everyone's forgotten about Scorpion's wife since the earlier games. If they gave her a cool look and some badass moves, she could be awesome. I hope if they ever did this, they don't make her into a female ninja character. I hope she's got some normal clothes or something.

Having Quan Chi bring Scorpion's wife back from the dead to fight against her husband is an awsome idea!

Wow, that would really spicen up the tension between Quan Chi and Scorpion. Scorpion would be forced to kill his wife with his bare hands and that would only make his feelings for Quan Chi even more bitter. The fight between those two would be epic!

Would be impossible if we follow the most logical explanation for Scorpions allegiancwe with the elder gods:

Why should Scorpion ally with them? What did they promise in return for his services?

-most likely his family. And since they are dead and gone for Scorpion, he really doesn't care if they would offer him life again. that would only mean another possible death.

So I'm guessing that they promised, or already gave him the chance of reunion with his wife and child. Dunno if they reside in the nethereralm-unlikely, Scorpion would have encountered them-or in the heavens-most likely, since they were murdered.

At firs Scorpion should not recognize her 'cause he lost his memory so he could get revenge, but he does so after he kills the woman trying to kill him: his wife, but she neither sould remeber him, instead someone like Quan Chi should be pulling the strings.

I had posted this idea a very long time ago. I find that the story has potential.

Scorpion needs a deeper story-change (well, he got a little of that in MKD so its cool), something dramatic.

I think having one of his family members return to haunt him and kill him is a great idea. I had said that it could either be his wife or sister (if he had any).

They could return and for some dark reason, they will not stop till he is dead.

I like the way that you guys think, but his family and clan are dead and I think that we should leave it like that. If they came back then Scorpion would have no need for vengence on Quan Chi. So I think that the original way is better, and I can't wait for Quan Chi to get his wooping

diffrent abilities would be a must, but there would still have to be *something* to screem that there was more then just a suddel connection between the two. but hopefully not a 'i forced her soul to be my mate' type thing. >.<

That's sounds like a cool idea. Bringing back Scorpion's wife to fight against him. It would certainly change Scorpion's story a lot, especially if his wife was in the mix. Imagine if he does end up killing her to save himself, he remembers who he was before he was solely known as Scorpion. That would be awesome!!! Anyway you look at it would be great!!!

Scorpion's wife a specter like he is and forced to fight him. That would rock!!! It would only make things worse between Quan Chi and Scorpion.

They didn't promise him anything, they just plucked him from the void and turned him into their champion. It was against his will, but he doesn't seem to have much of a problem with it.

all right, I need proof on how Scorps was enlisted to the Elder God pawn club. Also, the wife story is good. But it should not be a playable character, but a wvery deep storyline.

And second, Scorpion can remember his past and his family.
1. if he would not remember them, why does he bother to get vengeance for someone he doesn't even know?

2. stated in MK1 ending that he can remember, but must live forever with his secret curse.

There's no real proof yet why exactly Scorpion's working for the Elder Gods. It's possible the Elder Gods aren't offering him anything at all or they could have just said "Serve us and we'll grant you any wish."
I assume Scorpion's hoping by serving the Elder Gods he can somehow be reunited with his family.

"It was Scorpion who stole my life. Scorpion who stole my family. I put my trust in him and he threw it aside like the selfish bastard he is. It's because of him that I watched my family die. Because of him that I suffered before I died myself. Because of him...the life of my unborn child was taken from me. Because of him that I am forced to dwell in this pit of the Netherealm. I have more reason to hate him than anyone else in the world.
"I owe Quan Chi much. It was he who made my new life possible and it was he who granted me the power and skill to avenge myself. It was Quan Chi who made me what I am today, but it was the fault of Scorpion that made it possible. Finally, after what felt like an eternity in darkness, Quan Chi has allowed me freedom. Ending:
Through Quan Chi's manipulations, Scorpion became the spectre warrior that he is today. Quan Chi intended him to be his personal undead weapon. But Quan Chi knew there was always the possibility that Scorpion would one day grow beyond his control. So he created a contingincy plan in that event.
When Quan Chi slaughtered Scorpion's family, he saved Scorpion's wife, Yuri Hasashi, for last. Before he killed her, he used his sorcery to taint her soul with evil so when she perished her soul would be sent to the Netherealm. Once there, Quan Chi found her and turned her into a spectre as well, like Scorpion, giving her a new body and endowing her with Hellspawn power.
He then corrupted her mind with lies and trickery. He made Yuri believe that it was Scorpion's fault she had died. His fault that she was damned to the Netherealm. Eventually, Yuri gave in to Quan Chi's manipulation and corruption and a seething hatred for her former husband consumed her soul. Yuri Hasahsi was dead. She was only Wraith now.
She was kept hidden in the Netherealm only to be released in the event that Scorpion grew beyond Quan Chi's control. Now that Scorpion has learned it was Quan Chi who kill his family, Quan Chi has no choice but unleash Wraith. She tracked Scorpion down and engaged him in battle. Because he was endowed with new power from the Elder Gods, he would have defeated her. But once she revealled that she was really his wife, Scorpion's fight left him. He could not bring himself to fight his own wife.
Wraith defeated Scorpion and using a mystical talisman given to her by Quan Chi, she trapped Scopion's soul. Scorpion's soul was locked in the talisman where he would be trapped in torment for eternity. Wraith took great pleasure in that she had finally avenged herself. And she owed it all to Quan Chi.

Back to the point, I think it's an interesting idea, but there are so many other good ideas, too;

For example, here's some characters people might have forgotten:

Sonya's brother- he was killed a long time ago. Not sure if it was a car accident or murder, but I know it was either one or the other.

Scorpion's son- he DID father a child, after all. It would put the whole Heihachi/Kazuya tension of Tekken to shame.

Sub-Zero's sister- is still M.I.A. (I refuse to believe it was Frost for some reason). Last we heard, Subby's daddy left her and his mother in America....

Liu Kang's brother- and truly the driving point of Liu Kang's presence in MK, and he's all but forgotten. Shame.

Hornbuckle- give that enigmatic, green-pants loser a chance.

Hydro- He was in the MK komics, and he had some cool powers, but ultimately became a body count.

Goro's brother- whom he killed to lay claim to the throne of the Shokotan empire. Did I spell that right?

Any of Quan Chi's angels- Sareena needs to get her chance, but who says Kia or Jakeeta are out of the mix?

And, yeah, Scorpion's wife would be pretty cool. I wonder... did she ever know HE was ninja? If she did, would she have pulled a Mrs. Sub-Zero and try and hide her child? Oh, the possibilities...

Possibly another story the MK team just happened to 'forget'? I still think it was Frost, only because what are the chances of 2 cryomancers hailing from Earthrealm when they're so scarce, and originally from Outworld? And why would she seek him out explicitly unless she knew of him somehow?


I may be mistaken, but I think that was just part of the movie plot.

The Scorpion's wife story has LOTS of potential...I thought this would be another shit thread, but its damn good. Great ideas.

Personally I'd like to see Scorpion's child. Was it a son? What would he look like? Would he fight? How would his knowledge about his father affect his life?

Maybe if they brought back the wife, have the son protrude from her torso or something like some wierd hybrid. Make her like 'Unknown' from Tekken Tag, minus the big wolf of course, but equally as strange.

I'm not so sure I'm too keen on that idea. Quan Chi most likely found himself in the Netherrealm after being destroyed by Raiden's ethereal blast so I suppose the idea could work. Would she look human like or would she be more monsterous looking?

Btw, Frost is definitely NOT Sub-Zero's sister. I'm pretty sure of that.

In his human life, Scorpion (aka Hanzo Hasashi) was a member of the Shirai Ryu ninja clan and was also a husband and father. His family and clan were both destroyed by Quan Chi. There really isn't much known about the wife or the child.

As for your ideas, well, I don't think that would happen though maybe just Scorpion and Sub-Zero could team up against Quan Chi.

i think it would be cool if scorpions kid would be in a game and turn aginst scorpion and he would be just as good or better and scorpion could never really hit him then later maby they would join sides and reak havick everywhere that would be cool

that would go hard! Make her so she s just a pissed off female ninja. Not like a Frost in a yellow costume or the kitana out fit either, something thats freakin badazz! The hardest part would be to finding special moves for her. She cant just bite off of Scorpion's moves because she isnt a ghost.
