It's funny he's my second favorite character and yet the idea of him still just makes me roll my eyes and groan.
I just wasn't a fan of how he undermined everyone in the previous game and how each and everything the villains did was his idea.

So long as he doesn't see that kind of treatment in this game, then yeah bring his smug manipulative ass back.

I know, Quan Chi's connected to so much of the story now, he's the villain that stirs up all of the crap and manages to live to troll another day, as much as I like him he's ready to get what he deserves = the most painful death in the history of MK!

if Scorpion and Sub Zero do team up in MKX then I bet they'll both finally get their revenge on Quan, and it will be very satisfying :)

He is my main,my fav MK character ever,yet I will agree he needs die in this one.Quan needs to be in,but just to answer for everything.but I will say please keep him a half physical character,half Mage.Thats what makes him dirty!

Anyway i don't really want to SEE Quan, he should sit in the flames of the Netherrealm and burn for all the trolling he's done, BUT the storyline probably won't make any sense without him.

I'd prefer a coherent story above a personal preference, so i'll say yes with the greater good in mind.

He is a masterkey piece for the mortal kombat history overall..
He might be the most evil character so far, Scorpion and new Sub Zero should get their revanche and kill him in this MK game, as mentioned above.
So yes, I think he is a must.

Yes, I want Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat X only so Scorpion can apply the coup de grace so to speak. Then Scorpion can move on and try to find a way of resurrecting his family and clan.

NO! That's the LAST thing Scorpion wants to do! In Armageddon when he wanted his family resurrected, the Elder Gods did it, but they fucked up by making his family and clan undead. And that pissed Scorpion off.

He should be looking for a way to REUNITE with his family and clan. He doesn't want to stay a wraith of the Netherrealm and kill people for eternity. And he tried to redeem himself to get his goal in Deception by being appointed Champion of the Elder Gods so once he eliminates threats to all realms he could be granted passage into the afterlife by the gods. Eliminate threats like Noob Saibot, the monster he created from the older Sub-Zero in the very first Mortal Kombat when he killed him

He's a fun character to use with some pretty cool moves, quite cool powerset, an interesting story that could be explored, and he looks awesome.

Oh fersure. Two main reasons -

1. Grew to my 2nd favorite ninja in MK9. I could dish 40-50% with a single combo. Without cornering and without an x-ray. MK9 Rain gets no complaints from me and if he's included, I can only imagine how much they could expand the game play.

2. I'm still wishing for some elaboration on his role as a Prince.
