What as in final boss? I think if you want to piss of 99.99% of the MK fans Ed should make this happen

For Obscurity, better yet, give Drahmin his human form while atop his horse (from the concept art) and make that the final boss. I think that would be interesting, having a brutal, ancient (human) warlord as a boss. I know thats not going to happen though. I could imagine the stage being a battlefield in Earthrealm with most of the populace dead in the background.

Shujinko is one of the worst Mortal Kombat characters ever. So no.
It's strange, because I loved his Konquest mode, but the character ended up to really be pretty worthless. I feel a lot of that comes down to his uninspired move set and how he kind of got pushed aside after Deception and ended up really being nothing more than a pawn who never redeemed himself.

Actually, I would like for him to return. Everyone wants an Earth user, let it be Shujinko.
Bring Shang back too.

Shujinko is honestly one of my most desired characters. I loved him in MKD and although he is a complete moron, the whole Damashi/Scorpion/Kamidogu journey/deception really had me aboard.
Give him a visual makeover, give him an original moveset and LETS DO THIS! The lore intact, Shujinko still would have his ability to absorb powers etc. That would either have to be dealt with or manipulated somehow.
I am totally behind another Shujinko appearance.

That is certainly garbage. Why give a name to someone like that and only having them being an interactible object...

No thanks.
Boon said in one of the trailers that there will be an elderly lady by the name of Blanch. She might be somewhat like Shujinko.

God I can picture playable Blanch being requested in MKXI.

Shujinko's less of a gullible screw-up than Raiden is.
He never got anyone who wasn't a badguy killed and he cleaned up his own mess.
Just throwin' that out there.

Agreed. Add some color to the costume, and he's good to go.
At the end of the day, Onaga is still around in the MK9 timeline (read Shao Kahn's MK9 bio). Unless we get even more time travel changes and/or retcons, then MKX should reach the time Onaga got a body. Not to mention Shujinko has been running around getting the Kamidogus. Going from how Konquest Mode went, he should finish his quest during MKX.
And no, there's nothing that says that Onaga can only get a body from Reptile.

No one said that he can't. It's how it was in MKD though. He can surely get his own body, because I want Reptile in MKX.
I don't think Onaga will be in MKX and nor want him in at all.

Yes! Yes! Yes! They need to bring back Shujinko! With his own array of specials and Fatalities!!! He shall be playable, but, if he was to be the boss which I highly doubt, he would still be greatness
Shujinko = Earth Powers
Shujinko = Earth Powers

Despite that I'm really not that big of a fan of this character, as long as they give him some moves of his own, better fatalities, and not make him stupidly gullible, I'd be down with welcoming him back.

I liked that he was stupidly gullible, and that he owed it to himself and the realms to rectify his grand mistakes. But yes I think they should give him his own moveset this time, trying to think of what would be his style.

NO! Make him clumsy, it gives me a character to relate to!

I always thought that they did him a disservice by making him so bland and giving him other characters moves. To me, it just made him seem dull and uninspired, which made his decisions in Konquest and it's ultimate outcome all the more disappointing.
That said, Ive always liked the "old sage" archetype in fighting games. Shun Di in VF, Master Sage in Tao Feng, etc. I thought they kinda missed their chance to do that in Deception. He grew older, but not wiser.
I'd like to see him return. Give him a background where Raiden warned him that he was being deceived and kinda go from there. Maybe he wanders the worlds, becoming a powerful warrior in his own right (not through "learning" others moves) and he gains the wisdom that he never got on his journey in the alt timeline.
Maybe he opens his own Wu Shi temple in Outworld and joins the fight now that he's needed.
Last thing, he'd need new cloths. Something multicolored with rich colors and layers of fabrics. I think that could be cool.
So yeah, I think that he could work. He'd need to be Striker-ised, perhaps to a great degree, but there's potential there. I'd take that over seeing a character for the seventh time in ten games or whatever.

Please no... I think this is one of the characters I loathe the most. I mean if they were to put him in it wouldn't deter me from purchasing it but I think I'd rather have mokap and he is another one I abhor.
