I think OP means Revenant Jade. Who killed revenant Jade? We don't really know. Might have been Tanya but I don't think the Card Backgrounds have any barring on the canon.

The Jade head Tanya's holding doesn't look like her revenant form.

Its nothing. Absolutely. Positively. NOTHING. It's just a nod to Deception, where Tanya/Jade were the most vicious enemies since Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Still, somewhere between MK9 and MKX, the Cyrax and Jade revenants were destroyed. Or Quan Chi just fucked up the procedure, that should have changed them from zombies to deathknight-like revenants.

Also, why would that stop them? Didn't Sindel go from Revenant to Revenant? The Revenants are essentially alive, just twisted and full of dark magic. That's why they return to their regular lives with Raiden's counterspell. Perhaps Jade and Cyrax were too pure to be corrupted.

You're right, I guess Cyrax escaped that encounter in the chapel, and he was destroyed later by Sub-Zero, never regaining his sapience.

But for Jade, as the comic portrays it, they're just zombies in Raiden's MK9 chapter. The revenant process (which presumably makes them stronger, and able to leave the Netherrealm) came later, as there Sub Zero is still a cyborg, and cyborgs can't be revenants.
