Kitana, Havik, Smoke, and Liu Kang are my DLC guesses atm. Definitely subject to change though.

I really liked the Klassic fatality downloads and hope more characters will have them this time around. Baraka's Impale and Reptile's Acid Bath ftw.

I think there will be stage DLC, more costumes like Injustice but not on the same ridiculous scale, new and veteran characters for DLC. Maybe game modes, and add ons to whatever else they're adding but haven't announced. But having brand new characters for DLC is totally going to happen IMO and that's exciting to think about.

It'd be wiser to have all the brand new characters in the core game so they can establish themselves better. Doubt a lot of people would throw their money on new meat DLC. We'll most likely get fan-favorites that didn't make the cut.
And it'd be cool to have DLC arenas this time around as well as a bunch of costume packs. And if Chess Kombat doesn't make it into the game, that would be #1 request.

Having new kharacters for DLC would be stupid on their part.Half the roster is already new plus We r already missing out on a ton of klassics. They need to bring them back first n they would certainly sell more

I would love if they had multiple dlc costume packs. I am really hoping for at least 3 costumes per character. Some, like Scorpion and sub, should have even more costumes.

I want returns all new original designs on the disc. And then revisited classics for dlc. Like the shredder subby. I doubt we get new original designs for dlc (except for new dlc characters of course.) I am foreseeing a umk3 dlc skin pack.

Having new characters as DLC is just a fail waiting to happen. It's important all new characters make it into the core game and into storymode. The only way I can excuse a new character being DLC is if it's someone like Skarlet, who's more of a homage than anything anyway, but a new character similar to Kotal or Ferra/Torr ect is just too risky. No newbies for DLC, not just for this game, but ever.

Keep the vets and fan favorites as DLC however.

DLC character should have nothing to do with the Cannon Story.

I think that Liu Kang and Kitana will be in the game so I won't include them.
I think that The Portal will return so I won't include it as DLC

when I said "new dlc characters" i meant new to the roster of mkx. Not completely new characters. Sorry for the ambiguity.

Why would people want new characters as DLC? Skarlet didn't benefit at all from making her debut in the game as DLC with no story relevance. D'Vorah, Kotal, Cassie and Ferra/Torr are getting great exposure atm and people (at least most of us) are warming up to them.
So I'd say bring all the newbies they got into the original game and leave some of the popular MK9 characters that died or took a break from MKX, as DLC.

That would be pretty awesome if they had a way to include them into the story.

So I don't know how I feel about DLC stories for characters. I think they would be GREAT, but then again, having to include those DLC characters in the story could truly hamper some options or make things messy.

Would it be too sloppy to have DLC chapters for DLC characters who lived and simply none for other DLC characters who may have died. All DLC characters will still get the same things I.E. Two costumes, two fatalities, three variations ect. but only some will be relevant to the story and some will just be DLC for the fans.

Blah, I don't know if I'm making sense so I'll just shut up. In short what I'm saying is- I'd like for all characters to have a shot to make it in as DLC, regardless of story or status.
