Salazar was a development name for Erron Black.
Both characters were to appear in the third Machinima webseries, but it hasn't been released.

Well, you all got your Tremor now. Can we finally move on?

It was either a place holder name or a character cut early in development. From what I've heard it was more of a "do we want a new character or Bo Rai Cho" question.
Wasn't Ron Tan Cho revealed to be an anagram/play of Tanchoran or however you spell the director(?)'s last name.

Salazar was production name of Erron Black. Some say they didn't use it cause some kid died playfighting MK back in the 90's. I only vaguely remember hearing aboout it.

I can confirm all of this.

Salazar was just a development name, however in the subs files there are certain intros where other characters spell his name out loud.
Back in a dew years ago a guy whose last name was Salazar murdered his little sister and then blamed playing MK for it.
Plus Antonio Salazar was a Portuguese Dictator.
And, honestly, Salazar isn't a cowboy name.

Ron tan cho was supposed to be an original character for MK next generation, a unreleased third season of Legacy based around MK X plot. Essentially, he was some mob boss of the Triad.
It is highly likely that Ron Than Cho was just another development name. Oh, we're never gonna see next generation despite a few pictures of it being released/leaked.

(Master) Ron Tan Cho was Shang Tsung's educated master centuries ago when he was normal. He was one of the three who founded the Mortal Kombat tournament, but was overthrown.

You're doing a lot of confusion.
Ron tan cho was supposed to be a Triad boss in the unreleased mk generations.

Master cho,the one you're speaking about, was a totally different character in mk conquest, who later inspired the creation or Bo'Rai Cho

So (for example) Takeda from Mortal Kombat Conquest inspired Takeda Takahashi? Now with Kung Lao and The Great Kung Lao that's disparate.

No, in the MK lore used to be another Takeda, the original founder of the shirai ryu, as pointed out in the MK sub-zero mythologies manual.
It would seem that Takeda is a very common Japanese name as well, but I am not sure of it.

He doesn't; he just pulled that straight out of his ass.

DAHK9 is one of Hanky's ten billion aliases, so pay him no mind.

No it's not, so what's your problem?

As head of the triads I imagine that Ron Tan Cho would be related (probably antagonist and former employer) of Kung Jin.

I think Ron Tan Cho was the name Daegon uses to appear in the human triad world.
The description of the character only matches Daegon
