Sonya should definatley return, like Queve has repeated many times over and over again, she is one of the three original heroes of Mortal Kombat and with that fact alone she should stay untill the series end.

Sonya had been the landmark female character in Mortal Kombat in my opinion for a long time. Sonya had been involved in many story lines in Mortal Kombat over all of these years.

As long as I have been a fan of Mortal Kombat, Sonya has been up there as my favorite female fighter in the game. Her moves were fun to pull off and use against people in the game. Her storyline although has not changed too drastically has been interesting through all of the years.

I feel that if Kano has not died at the hands of Sonya, then Sonya should never leave or vice versa. I love the grudge between those two characters and I want to see this epic fight come to end before I see her go.

Also, Sonya is obligated to her allies on Earth. Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Raiden, and Jax are all very close friends to her and as long as these characters are in Mortal Kombat, I feel that she will be in Mortal Kombat also.

So hopefully, but with no doubt I expect to see Sonya in Mortal Kombat 7 in whatever form Midway presents her in.

Right on, Grizzle! Sonya should come back in MK7. I like to see how the rest of her story is going to develop.

If I could add something to it, maybe Sonya should be evil in the beginning then go back to good. I had something like that in mind. It would not only give her a new direction in her story but it would be interesting to see Sonya fight on the side of evil or be neutral.

I really don't see why so many ppl don't like Sonya. If it wasn't for her females wouldn't probably even be considered for the MK series. Let alone, She even made Kali Sticks cool and she even had the Kiss of Death Fatality before Kitana. I mean c'mon, they were planning on putting either Jax or Stryker in MK1 before considering putting Sonya in the game. This basically led to more females being added to the franchise.

I understand everyone has their faves and all, but seriously if you don't like her, fine don't like her, but don't come onto these threads about Sonya and diss her when its not even necessary to do so. If you so hate her, then why not make suggestions on how to make her better instead of wasting thread space talking smack.

Her sticks were way better than her wind blade IMO. The wind blade doesnt even look like a weapon lol, it looks like one of those spinning flower things ppl have in their garden.

Maybe she should keep her sticks and use the Wind Blade for her Hara Kiri. That could be a suggestion.
