I think it should be Sub-Zero. I had a friend that came up with a good story about how the cyromancers used to be in charge of Outworld before Onaga, Onaga destroyed just about all the Cyromancers but had a legend that one will return and defeat him and rule Outworld once again.

I know I butchered that story just a little, sorry ermacmk5.

IMO Reiko should definately not be the next emperor. He looks and reminds me too much of Kahn, but even if he did get his own revamped look, I still wouldn't want him as a ruler or boss. That role fits for so much better characters IMO.

It should get taken over by Edenians and destroyed.

Reiko wouldn't take the place of Shao Kahn, for one thing, it will be different if they both die with Onaga. It would be utter chaos, but there will be no ruler, only if decided on, a powerful kombatant could take Shao Kahn's place.

Nah man, I think it should be Sindels old husband before Shao Khan stole her and Kitana from him. I think that we be awsome, finally making him into an actual chracter. He would be back from the dead to get revenge on Shao Khan and than become the new emperior of outworld. Thats just an idea and the MK team could make it alot better.

Shao Kahn is a great character, but he's overstayed his welcome, and the only way I'd want Onaga back is if he's given a better backstory. And there's no other character who can really fill those "emperor shoes" if you know what I mean.

Then again, I'd take anyone over Reiko...

i hope Outworld gets destroyed, and everyone in it; i'm gettinng tired of hearing about Outworld imo.

Maybe they can include Daegon and Taven in that story?

I could totally see that happening - feigning loyalty to the Emperor, then (literally) stabbing him in the back, taking his throne. It would also be an interesting way of expanding the feud of Jade and Tanya (assuming Sindel dies and Kitana retires and leaves Jade the throne of Edenia, or something of the sort). Hmm... lots of potential in that idea. I like it.

What about Baraka? Hes been a native there for a while. He could possibly be the next emperor.
