Usally, the MK games take about 2 years to make. Example: Deadly Allince came out in 2002 and Deception came out in 2004. it's 2005 now so what I think is going to happen is MK7 will be out around 2007. Also when MK7 comes out they'll hold it till Christmas time, which they usally do with new games, and by then PS3 and XBOX360 should be out. So I don't see any reason for MK7 to come out on PS2 and XBOX, it should come out on the new systems.

Well, often games are started before a previous one comes out so I do think the games take more then 2 years to make. Another thing is is that MK:SM is being developed in another studio, I beleive paradox, so who is to say that they arnt working on MK7 yet? I think we will see a mk7 Christmas 2006, to compliment my prediction of a Ps3 release in MArch-June 2006 release. I also expect Mk7 to be released on Ps3, Ps2, Xbox360... but if not the Ps2 then I think they should develope side games for hat system. The reason why i leave off the Xbox is beause the first release of the 360 is not going tot be backwards compatible... so I hear. Dont be confused, I have played a XboX360 and it was very nice and a step forward, i just hate the idea of 3 possible releases of it.

Officially there is no release date. There is a speculated released date of Late 2006, when all 3 next-gen consoles will already be out. MK7 on current gen consoles is not likely.

im new, also big mk fan. The playstation3 is know to be out late 2006
and the new mk game is coming out in a month after the ps3 comr out.

PS3 is launching is JAPAN in the Spring of 2006. That usually means that a U.S. Launch will follow in the Fall. Since Boon and company announced that an MK game will be released EVERY year, alternating between Fighting Game and Other Mk Related game, that means the MK 7 should be out Fall 2006. Midway already said that development of MK7 has been going on since the beggining of the year. My theory .... MK7 will be a PS3 launch title in October of 2006.
