It would be better if they just made a tag-team vs. option rather than force characters to tag-team. And be able to switch out whenever you want. I think the game that does that is KoF?

Those two characters to not mesh nor interact at all in Mortal Kombat. I don't even think the two even know of each other in Mortal Kombat.

I also don't think they would even join forces if they met because they are so different from each other.

Sektor is a crazed cyborg that is bent on destroying all that Sub-Zero has built with his Tekunin clan that he established.

Rain is a former servant to Shao Kahn who turned on the past emperor in honor of Kitana and Edenia and thus disapeared from the action he took.

I think if both characters were featured in the same game they would go their own seperate ways.

I believe Rain would try to rejoin Kitana when he resurfaces from Shao Kahn's failed attempt in obtaining Earthrealm as a part of his empire.

I also believe that Sektor would rise again with his Tekunin clan in full power and ready to attack the Lin Kuei.

With all of these facts listed I highly doubt there would ever be a Sektor -Rain character in Mortal Kombat ever unless Midway created a Tekken Tag like game for Mortal Kombat.

A tag team mode would be a better idea. Rain and Sektor have no interaction in the MK storyline, so them being a tag team would be stupid.

Yes, they did. They were Lin Kuei warriors many years ago. Rain and Sektor don't have a connection and I don't think they will. If they will, I wouldn't really like that much.

Hmmmm I have to agree with the majority in that this isnt the best Idea. I wasnt a fan of the Noob Smoke tag-team Idea, I think they could have been a lot better on their own. Just like Rain and Sektor would be if they ever return.

Like others have said, the two are vastly different in terms of story. We know Sektor to be Evil and out to automate everyone, whereas Rain is somewhat of a mystery, of Edenian descent. In MKT he turned on kahn, and supposedly went on a suicide mission. We dont even know if that happen. For all we know he could be dead.

the only way i can think of linking the two was if Rain and Sektor's paths crossed previous to Sektor's automation. The ninja's perhaps tranied together, as Shao Kahn/Shang tsung once had ties with the Lin Kuei. but thats a long shot. Perhaps Rain went looking to be automated.....but i doubt it.

Neither Shao Kahn nor Shang Tsung had ties with the Lin Kuei. However, the Lin Kuei did send Sub-Zero to assassinate Shang Tsung, but that's just it.

yeah i think rain and secktor woudl team up and there enemys are gona be the team of Scorpion and SUB ZERO... I think I just saw a pig fly by and I think im deaf in one eye, but I do smell air and its salty........ NEVER GONA HAPPEN
