My favorite is Li Mei. The best? People are going to call me crazy, but I'd say Shujinko.

Very much agree with Li Mei being a favorite, although I'm pretty fond of Hotaru as well.

Most relevant for MKX? As much as I dislike the character, probably Havik.

MKX Relevant? Shinnok and Quan Chi

Best? I think Tanya, Shinnok and Quan Chi

I really liked Kai's tiger stripes and his immense, huge fireballs in MK4. And the capoeira style.

I would be pleasantly surprised to see him in MKX.

Fujin also... I want to see many god-like karakters join the party in MKX. Imagine Raiden, Fujin, Kotal Kahn, Shinnok, Shao Kahn all together, in the same game. It would be godly and amazing.

Relevant to this game? I would say almost every character I listed up there. Or I would think but I don’t know (or really care) where they are going plot wise with this game so *shrugs* fuck if I know if Shinnok will even be seen in this game.

Havik for the win because he is such a bad ass.

Tanya IS INDEED a super epic KARAKTER. You can stay stressed, oppressed and distressed over it, if you want.

F - Nitara, Ashrah, and Tanya

As for relevance, I'd go with Fujin, Quan Chi and Shinnok.

MK4: Reiko and Tanya.
- Reiko and Tanya both work for Shinnok, and I believe the start of MKX's storyline will be about Shinnok trying to take over where Shao Kahn left off, so there's an opportunity for those two.

MKDA: Kenshi and Nitara.
- Since Shang Tsung is dead and gone, he might not return to MKX which means Kenshi's storyline is kinda open right now for him to do anything. And Nitara still needs to find the orb to release her realm from Outworld.

MKD: Havik and Hotaru.
- I would LOVE to see these too get mixed into the story, one trying to spread chaos and the other trying to maintain order.

MKA: Taven.
- This is a tricky one, becaue Taven is only important due to the whole Armageddon thing, and we don't know if that will still happen or if it has been completely retconned out of the story. Either way, I'd like for Taven to play a role somehow.

Best: Daegon, Reiko.
Most relevant: Quan Chi, Taven.

Both relevant and best is Quan Chi hands down.

But Taven, Shujinko, Onaga, Diego, Kenshi and Havik are close seconds.
