That's my guess.

People often assume the boots are all default costumes but #3 who Ed confirms is Liu's, sports a different shoe than the ones we've seen.

Going by the stance and style of boot, I think #2 is Erron in an alternate costume. #5 is Jax, we know that.

So then what's the holdup?

Erron is officially revealed and he has a trailer, confirm the boot if it's Erron.

#2 could be Jason

2 is Sonya. Her variations have different boots.

Oh God fucking dammit. The boot puzzle consist of fucking alternate costumes too?! Then at this rate, it's either an unannounced fighter or Sonya, Kenshi, Jacqui or Erron Black (am I missing anyone?)

So has boot 2 been solved yet? clearly reaching here, but if boot 2 hasn't been confirmed yet, and if there is a secret unlockable in game, could it be Fujin? I know his boots in the chapter of story don't match, but consider that Raiden was wearing an alternate costume then, so maybe that's Fujin's alt and the boots are his primary? Although some supposed leaker on twitter (grain of salt) claims Fujin will be DLC in Sept-Oct wave, along with Li Mei, Smoke and guest Spawn

I believe boot #2 is Erron Black's alternative while boot #3 should be Kung Lao's alternate

I'm sure everyone knows this by now, but I think the thread should be updated anyway.
