Not upset, just disapointed, I know there taking the story a different direction this time, but that doesnt mean we can't have some of the best characters from that era, simply on a different path set by the changes to the timeline.

I mean Shinnok and Quan Chi are certainly going to be there, it would make sense for Reiko to be there as a general in his army again.

It would also make sense for Raiden to recruit Kenshi again etc, basically NRS can create ways for us to have the most popular 3D era characters while ditching the less popular ones.

But anyways, my original point is that one of the main things that people ask for in MK is the gore and the Fatalities. People didn't complain about half the cast of MKvsDCU being DCU characters... they complained about the lack of gore. And that is enough for people NOT to see it as a REAL MK game. Even with the core iconic characters.

Man not everything Boon posts is a direct correlation to "hard confirmation that this character is in." People were tripping out about the fact that Boon mentioned Prince and Rain too and then Boon flat out deconfirmed him during an interview a few weeks later.

I honestly believe so. He has been retweeting Reptile and Ermac pics in the recent months, and a couple weeks ago he replied to a user asking for a ninja character with a winky face. You know when he uses a winky face that's usually a good sign.

So far the Raiden and Kano reveals are telling me they're getting out the older characters first. So Reptile or Mileena won't surprise me as the next reveals, in any order. I hope PAX has info.

The best you can possibly get out of Boon's twitter are some heavy hints.

That being said Reptile and Ermac are frequently mentioned and this just fuels my excitement for a Reptile reveal.

His moveset would no doubt be awesome but what I would want most is him to get an incredible look/outfit along with a good voice. Human or Reptilian I don't even care so long as he looks GOOD.

Oh and not just snarling and hissing "RAWR!" to everyone (but a few people he particularily hates is ok).

It's a longshot, but I hope they don't reveal Mileena anytime soon. I'd rather see ANY other female character (with the exception of Frost) make it into the game before her. I need assurance that female representation in Mortal Kombat won't be hindered by a character whose only saving grace (at least in this timeline) are her tits and ass.
