MK4 - MK: Deception have pretty weak endings when compared to past MK games. While still ok ,they were short and didn't have that much too them. They weren't as nearly as good as MK1- MKT endings. I'll take text endings any day over MK4- Deception endings.

What I am saying is if the MK team can't get a good meaty ending cg like they have done in MK1- MKT, I hope they stick with the 1 or 2 pics with text. When I mean textI mean again MK1- MKT text. Btw I can do with out the narrator like in MK: DA and Deception , if the endings are text again.

everybody wants video scenes. the one's in mk4 were kinda odd. they sounded unnatural. but with the ps2 graphics and such, the timing will be better. but some endings need to be narrated such as noob-smokes. but it could be like the intro to mkd, where a video happened which then went into a narration.

I would definatley want the cut-scene endings to return in Mortal Kombat 7. I felt that watching those scenes in MK4 brough all of those characters to life. Instead of seeing still images and reading the context below describing the actions of the characters in Mortal Kombat, you could witness the action first hand and observe how each character moves, talks, and even get to see a glimpse of their personality.

Why do you suggest that everybody wants video sequences? The pictures are good, let them stay. or do videos, where the picture freezes out when the narrator tells the story.

There's no need to refer to mk4 about video cut scenes. MK Gold had very nice ones that put mk deceptions endings to shame.

They say it takes too much time to make them. GTA has lots. Just use in game graphics and the ending will be cool especially with the unreal engine.

I definately prefer video to pictures. The pictures look cool and all, but they should be something you unlock in the krypt, not a reward. Like someone else said, video endings definately do bring the characters to life, and they make you feel like you know the character more, rather than just hearing some old, stuffy guy saying everything. That voice does get very old, ya know. I often like to watch endings to games when I'm bored, but hearing the same boring voice all the time sucks. I'd prefer them to take more time and make good video endings rather than go cheap on us and give us something from scrap. So yeah.

let's see now...after i;ve seen mk 4 endings...i was very happy..that the mk team made those fmv scenes....and i;ve waited mk deadly alliance...and hoped that mk V will have fmv scenes...but now...the mk team..skipped this part.....and then ...i;ve waited mk deception...and i was almost 70% sure that mk VI will have fmv scenes...but ...no...the mk team...skipped again this part....and now the conclusion...the mk team motivates..that the fmv scenes are to expensive....and that only the mk V and Mk V intros...were very expensive.....i understand that midway is not like Namco...but still...the mk VI was selled better than all the previous mk games...and i think that the mk team made now sufficient money...to make the gameplay...awesome...and also the most waited...mk fmv scenes ...like mk V and VI intro...please mk team...don;t dissapoint us....regarding...the fmv scenes.... PS: i've also made threads about this in mk V and Mk VI Forum...but i;ve read the same...and that is that...the fmv scenes are too expensive...

I was slightly impressed with MK4 picture endings but when MKG came out the graphics were highly improved. MKG's ending werent choppy like some in MK4 and had a better flow. cut-scene endings would be amazing to have with the graphics of the PS2

I don't care about video endings as long as I know whats going on.

If anyone here has played Tekken 5 before remember how when doing arcade mode it was actually a story? That Would Be Perfect for MK up to a point.

Now cuae cut scenes are too god damn brief, just make them in 2 or 3 part series, whether or not they re expensive, they cant be that bad.

This might seem like a bit much, but I'd like to see video endings AND video intros for each character. It would be nice if they told the characters story leading into the game. What they've been doing since the last game or two or three etc and why they're in MK7. That way, seeing a video ending would be more closure than trying to find out what happened to that character in the next game. If you have the video endings, you might as well go all the way is all I'm saying.

Oh, and for the love of God, get some quality voice actors. Some of the MK4 endings were solid in this department, but certainly not all of them.

Yeah Id like to see video endings for each character. I agree with whoever it was above that said the MK4/MKG ending kinda gave the characters some life, but then agan so have th bios this game. I like how the character tells u whats going on from their point of view.
I also like the idea of video intros/bios tho I doubt that would happen.

when MK4 got out it's video endings were now out of date, and the motion which the characters had was very mechanic and weird.

Like I said, i think the best solution wouold be the compromise: have a video opening what pauses out at an important moment -when the narrator joins in and tells the story- and freeze out when the storytelling is done. Use this twice or more, that should give enough tension since the fighs are short but dynamic -thus easy to digest- and the screen freeze allows the story to form up in text and voice.

Hell yeah!!! I would love to have cut-scenes endings for Mortal Kombat 7! That would pretty cool to watch. Imagine seeing your favorite characters in action. Still, I do prefer that they improve the in-game graphics and the fighting engine. In my opinion, all this would take at least two years to accomplish and will take a lot of memory. I guess we'll have to wait untill the PS3 comes out for this one. Edit: They shouldn't make the videos with voices like Konquest's voices. What I think they should do is make them (the endings) cut-scene (like we want) and do it like the two picture endings of MKD, with a narrator telling you about the character's actions. Also like it was done to the Intro.
