As far as looks go, looks way too similar to Rain or another palette swap. I love all the ninjas even as palette swaps but 7 is definitely enough.

The art itself is fantastic though.

He's a fan-made character by an artist who has some wicked photoshop skills. No thanks. There's more reasons why I say no, but I'm just going to stick with that one.

I think that is Ed Boon's way of saying that there will be no more ninja characters because there is still plenty of colours.

Instead of this new ninja, how about Tremor finally becomes a MK fighter ??

We're past the digitized pallet swap days though...why would we need another uninspired ninja added to the roster? However I would be open to them introducing an Edenian character who had power over vegetation. Those guys are all about flower power.

Im sure there will be a few "Ninja" type characters in the game but the next BIG DEAL of a Ninja needs to be Tremor...he's LONG over due.

haha the mask is the best part. I agree tho, too many ninja's. I do think Tremor will be part of the new character roster. he wouldnt take a spot from a returning vet. And I also think that while there won't be a palette swap ninja as a new character (and there shouldn't be.. ever again) we probably will see at least one new male and one new female masked character (excluding tremor). ..And then it will be left to the anti-ninja crowd to cry bloody murder on their inclusion.

This post was mostly just for fun. It is a really good piece of art that happens to be related to the MK universe so I thought it was worth sharing.

Not for nothing.. but if this was a female character would you guys be more open to this character design? I think I would.. a fully masked female ninja character that controls vegetation is kinda badass.

Honestly I would be more open to this being a design for Sector. The reason i say that is because the face looks like an amalgamation of the old Cyborg helmets and the classic MK Ninja masks.

It would be pretty funny if Phlox was the bodyguard for Emperor Rain. Pink goes with purple so well. LoL. Plus, rainwater makes plants stronger.

I have this gut-feeling that we will get a flower-powered female as one of the MKX Newbs. What do u call that anyway? VeggieKinetic, HortiMancer, Plant-Bending?

I also think there's never "too many" ninjas. As Long as everyone has a badass unmasked Non-Ninja ALT. Hell, even Phlox could have an alt with no mask and plant armor. Something like them guys from the movie Epic.

It would be a 'lil better but still very much not wanted.
