I honestly have Zero Idea why people think it's someone other than Jade?

It's really beyond me how people can think that in a livestream where they are going to show Kitana's three variations they won't de-confirm Jade.

FFS she is caring her staff and boomerang around and using them.

Ed Boon is starting to annoy me honestly, I mean when Kung Lao got leaked he was like "Kung Pow" Or whatever after the leak and after everybody already knew about Kung Lao.

and Now he is like "A character un-reveal" After we already know that Jade won't be in.

It's Jade and if it's not Jade then I doubt it's someone that's totally unexpected like Shinnok or Fujin.

Even if either of them won't be in, they won't Deconfirm them during the live-stream mark my words.

I know we have the Deadpool thread but it isn’t up to date, so I thought it would be good to make a thread that lists all known de-confirmed characters & could also be used as a place for speculating on who might not make the cut.

So far quite a few characters from previous games have been “unrevealed” by Boon himself, others from NRS, and even some during the streams and the comic.

As it stands at the moment the following have all been “de-confirmed” or “unrevealed”:

Batman (and other DC characters)- No DC
Chameleon- Out
Drahmin- Dumped
Freddy Krueger- Boon stated no DLC from MK9 would be DLC for MKX.
Hsu Hao- Hsu who...
Jade- Unrevealed
Khameleon- Not included
Kratos- Gone
Mavado- Sidelined
Meat- Back to the meat locker
Mokap- Ousted
Moloch- De-confirmed & decapitated
Motaro- Not in
Nitara- Sadly sidelined
Shao Kahn- his soul is inside of Ermac
Tiamut- Definitely not going to be one of the new characters
Zebron- Zeb-gone

And there are some who are possibly not making it into MKX:

Ashrah- Small chance?
Cyrax- could just appear in the Tower, though not yet “unrevealed”
Havik- May not be in, if Derek can be believed (shortly after 0:17 seconds in)on the Kombat Kast #3 stream Maybe out?
Jarek- Is it meant we may see him in a cameo?
Rain- could just appear in the Tower, though not yet “unrevealed”
Sheeva & Sindel- Lani Minella who voiced both in MK9 wasn't contacted by NRS to voice anyone in MKX so It's not looking likely for Sheeva and Sindel being playable

My bets are on any of the following 6, Jade and Shao Kahn being the most obvious ones:

Baraka
Cyrax
Jade
Rain
Shao Kahn
Stryker


Boon saying that none of the DLC from the last game would be DLC again eliminates Rain. Also, please edit the subject line so that there is one.

Yeah I've got them in mind as likely ones not to be in too.

Same with Blaze, and Shujinko, although I could see Shujinko making a cameo.

We know they actually listen to the good AND bad comments of the viewers. So I think they might bring up the fact that they mentioned Sheeva and be like uhhh...sorry about that one but uhhh.....No.

Not likely, she has a major role of the story in the comic and it's the part of the story which is also in the game, Mileena is almost definitely going to be in.

Rain has been 100% deconfirmed by Boon, separately from the DLC from last game. Someone asked about him and he flatout said NO!
