Wouldn't surprise me. The official MK Facebook page posted the trailer this morning. Some of the top comments are totally worth checking out if you want a good chuckle. (Spoiler, there's a drawing of a crying Shinnok demanded more MK characters lol)

The real question is: given that according to WB Leatherface and Alien were mandatory, why did they choose Bo' Rai Cho and the lame "Tri-boring" over Fujin, which is the Martian Manhunter of Mk X by fan request?

I don't think it's fair to insult and curse Ed Boon and NRS, remember they were bought out by WB after Midway went bankrupt. The same thing happened with MKvsDC, Midway needed money fast on the brink of bankruptcy, so they forced the MK team to merge the MK franchise with DC characters.

WB is shoving these unwanted guest characters down our throat when they know exactly what we want (actual MK characters). I'm pretty sure Ed and the rest of NRS were shaking their heads when WB higher up assholes were like no, fuck MK characters, you're going to include Leatherface and Alien. So stop blaming Netherrealm, they are working under WB.

The problem is that what you just stated is greatly being overlooked. Netherrealm isn't on their own, they're with a bigger company that's telling them what to do with their product. No one seems to get that, I guess except for a few.
