So Baraka, Sweet Tooth, Fujin and Bo' Rai Cho! I wonder if this is real...

God I hope not. No females and another guest? Fuck that.

What is with you and females? Females are generally less used than the male characters...

All of my favorite characters are female except like 3 and none of them made it into mkx so I'm still salty
Who are they

My favorites? Jade, Ashrah and Li Mei. My favorite male characters though are Reiko, Havik, and Hotaru, but I know that they have no chance for mkx

I love the female characters in most games as well. In MK my favs are Frost, Sareena and Jade...and they're all not in as playable characters...So I can feel your pain sad

Things change. It could very well happen. Just because the said "No console exclusives" at launch (which again, WAS true)... doesn't mean they were saying, "No console exclusives ever again for the entire life of this game, and the future of all Mortal Kombat as we know it!"

Clinging to that statement like it's gospel at this stage is just silly.

I don't see how that's silly. So because someone said prior to the game's release, we shouldn't always listen to everything they announce? I feel like that's silly. Doesn't matter how long ago that was stated, if they have announced that they're not going to have exclusive characters they're not going to have them. I think they would make some sort of statement if they were going to change their minds but I have not seen a single person from the developing team make a claim.

I also don't see them making two separate packs to please people. Playstation folks getting Sweetooth and Xbox players getting whoever they feel is worthy of being the exclusive on that end. Then they should be showing five characters and not four, because I strongly doubt we're only getting three and two of the four are just the console exclusives.

Does Sony even OWN Twisted Metal? I mean I know all Twisted Metal games have been released exclusively on Playstation consoles, but they've been developed by... differing studios

Sony Computer Entertainment publishes it. Out of all the companies the series has been in, Sony is the only company that has published the game.

I'm NOT saying he's in. Far from it until we hear some solid confirmation. I just don't think we should be taking a statement made several months before the game was even released as hard and fast several months after its shipped, when brand new DLC for NEXT YEAR is being developed.

I don't see how this makes sense. Why should we stop taking what was said before this game's release and just assume they're going to be making console exclusive items for us? I think by now if they were going to pull off a move like that, they either would be teasing us or informing us that they're changing their minds about the whole thing.

I just don't see how and why we should just randomly stop assuming they're not going to do console exclusive stuff to the game all because that was announced over a year ago.

Sure, the masses don't want more female characters, so no one should want more of them. What a lame argument, lol. The masses are stupid.

Anyway, I'd certainly like Sweet Tooth, since they stupidly included Kratos in MK9 instead of him.

As for the no-console exclusive(s) thing, I know it's been brought up, but I'll say this anyway: they said the final boss would be unexpected. It turned out to be Shinnok, after all. So they might have changed their minds about console-exclusive guests. Or were lying all along.

"But they would have said something!", one might say. Or maybe not. Maybe they want this to be a surprise, since people have written Sweet Tooth off as deconfirmed.

People still haven't figured out that the "surprise" was the demon form of Shinnok?
