Sweet Tooth is a Playstation only character, and they've said it multiple times that there are no console exclusive characters.

Needles is probably one of the few guests that I think would fit well in MK but since he is a Sony exclusive he won't be part of KP2.

As much as I'd like to play Sweet Tooth, him being in there is a clear indication that it's fake. Twisted Metal is a first party game for Playstation. And it wouldn't be allowed on Xbox.

How are people even entertaining the idea that this is real? I actually think three out of the four characters there will be in the pack but a blurry photo of a computer screen proves nothing.

Problem comes from the fact, that if you brighten up the KP2 shadow pic the figures more or less coincide waaayyyy too much with that.

You can actually see Bo'rai Cho's arm folds in the pics...

Alright, to say nothing of whether it is or isn't real, I just want to point out:

To anyone saying, "Can't be real because Sweet Tooth is console exclusive and they said no console exclusives"

They said no console exclusives when the GAME LAUNCHED (hell, before the game launched)... and at the time, it was (and at present still is) a true statement. That does NOT, however, mean that this DLC which CLEARLY began development AFTER the game had already been completed (I think we're all pretty much in agreement on that) couldn't or wouldn't possibly EVER have a console exclusive character.

Things change. It could very well happen. Just because the said "No console exclusives" at launch (which again, WAS true)... doesn't mean they were saying, "No console exclusives ever again for the entire life of this game, and the future of all Mortal Kombat as we know it!"

Clinging to that statement like it's gospel at this stage is just silly.

All that said... could still totally be fake. Or real. Who knows. Looks nothing like the silhouettes though, imo.

Does Sony even OWN Twisted Metal? I mean I know all Twisted Metal games have been released exclusively on Playstation consoles, but they've been developed by... differing studios. I'm not completely clear on if it's even a Sony owned property, or just a property that's very loyal to Sony. I mean Gears of War was Xbox Exclusive, but not owned by Microsoft (at least initially). Or the Dead Rising franchise, is Xbox exclusive, but still owned by Capcom. Hell, Khameleon is Nintendo Exclusive by happenstance, but she's still owned by Netherealm.

I'm NOT saying he's in. Far from it until we hear some solid confirmation. I just don't think we should be taking a statement made several months before the game was even released as hard and fast several months after its shipped, when brand new DLC for NEXT YEAR is being developed.
