Hey all, I haven't made a post in a while, but i've been lurking. Well, there's a big debate among MK fans who is the true female MK icon? Kitana or Sonya Blade? (For MK9, it seems to be they're pushing Mileena into that role) Let's not start this argument here though. While with Street Fighter, it is definitely Chun-Li who is the bigger icon of the two but Cammy's still pretty popular. And the thought came to me... what if there was a MK vs. SF crossover? Who would be matched up to who? I know that Sonya and Chun-Li were both the first females of their series but that doesn't necessary mean they match up better.

Well... let's start with in terms of looks, shall we?

Kitana has a similar outfit to Cammy (usually) with a leotard but her outfit is promiently blue like Chun-Li's and has similar hair color (the exact hair color escapes but I think Chun-Li's and Kitana's are either black or brown...
I can't tell either way they're both brunetees.

Sonya has blonde hair like Cammy but to say her outfit resembles Chun-Li is definitely pushing it, but I digress.

Anyway looks are only aesethic.

In terms of story, what Kitana has in common with Chun-Li is that both of their fathers were murdered by the series' villain. (Shao Kahn and M. Bison) and with Cammy, both were used by said villain as agents for them until rebelling though both for different reasons.

What Sonya has in common with both Chun-Li and Cammy is that like them, she is agent of a military/police force.

So it's rather interesting. I find that both Kitana and Sonya have things in common with both Chun-Li and Cammy. Who matches up with who? Well, it's a rather interesting question. So.. what do you guys think?
