if you havent played the older MK games i suppose there are spoilers for those.

Did it make you realize how fucking stupid the whole over arching story was? Because that's what made me laugh.

Well, every epic is stupid when you compress it in five minutes. No, it wasn't that. I still stand by the MK mythology.

It makes me sad because the fact that the MK team had bailed on the main storyline sunk in that much deeper.

And all because they insisted on keeping Armageddon part of the canon. It couldn't be just a throwaway game like DC.

Man I really wish Deadly Alliance - Armageddon never happened. At least story wise.

DA and MKD were some of the best MK's story wise...

I honestly think the smaller stories are much more interesting by comparison to the overall plot.

And as much as I have issues with the new story, I'm also glad they scrapped the direction they were going. 20 years of this bull crap is long enough. Time to do something new.

And then they'll just reboot it again in another 20 years.

I watched it for 20 seconds and had to shut it off. Terrible, not funny and just plain stupid. Shoudnt be surprised though, cant spell ignorant without IGN

lol...the story might not be Stephen King good, but the MK story is NOT horrible, like IGN portayed it to be and in its quest to be "funny", they cheapened the story and made it sound like a total joke, which was their point, but ignorant viewers, like the highest rated person on the video actually think that's how the story for MK is, which is a shame. If they got that their parody or whatever wasn't for real, I would probably laugh, but now it's just ridiculous.

Lighten up. The overarching story in MK deserves to be made fun of. Plus it was told so poorly are you really going to blame IGN for people not knowing that the series has had a story, especially in a fighting game?

But parodies are supposed to be funny, and this wasnt. I would have thought it were funny if it were done well and not by IGN. For whatever reason IGN has this new policy where everyone has to act like childish idiots in all their videos and articles. Everything reads and looks like its being done by 15 year olds with "we are all underage and immature" attitudes.

Well, regardless of IGN, I thought it was a funny rendition of MK's story. I can't even take MK's story seriously after all the random events and realms they tossed in the series post MK3...besides, they were actually pretty accurate in the video (even though they were mocking the series) Whatever, I guess everybody's entitled to their opinion.
