Will no-one speak up for Jade? Then I shall - Jade is ace with a capital A. In the games and the movie(s), she is the dogs klackers. I fell in love with Jade after seeing her in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Her green cozzie (costume), brilliant combo`s and mildly entertaining fatalities won my heart forever and her Victory pose is VERY Marvel Super-hero comickbooky. Why can`t you get that as a screensaver? Jade on the silver screen was well cast; she`s not a goodie, after all. Different media ie videogames, TV and Movies have different requirements and Irene Pantaeva (Apologies for mis-spelling the name) should also be in the 3rd MK flick. Is Jade from MK3 et al played by Becky Gable? The original Mortal Kombat game Sonya Blade (Elizabeth ???) and Jade/Becky Gable are both amazing looking women. Go back to digitised sprites, Midway, please! Jade rules, simple as that.

Jade is like a black version of Kitana. She's more stronger than her. Kitana is OK but I like jade better.

She's my 2nd fav. character.

In MK2, Jade was a hidden character and I got 2 use her and she had Kitana and Mileena's powers. I wonder why. I also wonder why she had brown blood whenevr she wuz sliced or hit.

Anyway, on Jade's BIO it said on one line in one of the old ones that she even had to betray her friend, whitch is Kitana, to her master, whom is Shao Khann. So I'm wondering if she's neutral.

LOVE JADE 4EVR!sad

Jade is not black, she just a tan man. If anything she's latin but she's not black lol. People said the same thing about Ermac in UMK3, he's not. He just has a tan because notice in MKA he's lighter.

Jade is pretty cool, initially she was more evil then good with her bio appearance in UMK3 but now I see it was more like she valued her life from Kahn's orders. I'm happy she turned good and didn't turn out to be another Tanya or Rain....

I simply don't think she's black or African anymore.
Eh... poor Jax. Now he has to get a white chick.
On a similar note, yes Jade the Emerald does own. The only downsides are her Annihalation role (Siberian? WTF?), her need for a shadow move, and her fairly standard storyline so far. Her patriotism biz could earn her a foe in Rain and Daegon, as well as a (potential) friendship in Taven.

I simply love Jade. She's one of my ultimate favorite characters. I liked her in UMK3 and i think she's only gotten better. I'm not a big fan of her "bun" look in UMK3 but her moves were priceless.

I also think she looked awesome in MKD and MKA. I liked her primary look and her alternate. I wish they gave her a different hairstyle for her alternate. i don't like the "braided pig-tails" Otherwise she was a pretty good fighter.

I loved all her moves. The Shadow kick and boomerang throw. they're both really good moves. And her fatality's are one of my favorites. Her staff dissapointed me though. It was way too clunky and heavy looking. She needed a more agile weapon. with more grace.

She's a great character, and i'm not sure why she doesn't have more fans.

Jade used to be my third favourite character (after Baraka and Mileena), but with MKD and MKA I didn't like her as much anymore. I think her weapon is ugly, I think her face is ugly, I think her costume is ugly, I think her story is boring. I actually don't want to see a Tanya/ Jade rivalry. However, I do love the alt.

I guess I miss getting my ass whooped by a really fast black and green Kitana with brass fans.

Jade could wear a preternatural Bindi, as she's touched mentally by her experience in the MK2011 ending (as she's sometimes looking Hindu). She could maybe envision things in the Dreamrealm (if it exists), since her encounter.
