My thoughts on the rankings...
64. Kobra
Not surprised by his ranking, but I don't mind Kobra that much to be honest. I think there are much worse characters than him.
63. Monster
Again, not a surprise.
62. Jarek
Deservedly near the bottom.
61. Mimik
If any character should've scored less than the previous three, it should've been this piece of shit. Worst character in Mortal Kombat.
60. Meat
I don't hate Meat all that much...he's just a harmless joke character...but I can't deny he sucks.
59. Sheeva
Never cared for Sheeva. Fitting placement for her.
58. Khameleon
I kind of like Khameleon, but I understand why she ranks low. She had a decent story that maybe could've gone somewhere, but she got screwed over in every other way.
57. Hsu Hao
Meh. I've nothing against Hsu Hao, but I wouldn't argue his placement.
56. Darrius
Same as Hsu Hao.
55. Kano
Good riddance. If anything, he should've ranked lower.
54. Daegon
I actually liked Daegon...but his placement doesn't surprise me too much.
53. Sonya Blade
I hate Sonya Blade. No complaints about her ranking.
52. Bo' Rai Cho
Bo' Rai Cho is another character I don't really hate, but I understand why others are turned off by him.
51. Kira
I like Kira, but I see what's wrong with her. But I think she can do well with some improvements.
50. Motaro
Seems about right. Never liked Motaro.
49. Onaga
I like Onaga, but more should've been done with him.
48. Tanya
I know a lot of people hate Tanya, but I personally think she's underrated. I think she has good potential as a villainess.
47. Frost
I think Frost turned out well, considering she's kind of a simplistic concept. I probably would've liked to see her higher on the ranking.
46. Shinnok
I like Shinnok, even though they fucked him over bad in MK4...and that pretty much destroyed his credibility.
45. Rain
Seems like a good placement for Rain, considering what he is. No complaints.
44. Stryker
I don't mind Stryker.
43. Ashrah
I would've liked Ashrah higher on the list. I think she's a good character with good potential.
42. Goro
I used to like Goro, but the dragged him out and pretty much ruined him. Goro is proof of how nostalgia can do more harm than good.
41. Sektor
I think Sektor is the best of the cyborgs and is a cool villain. I think he should've gotten higher.
40. Smoke
Smoke's okay, but his placement seems about right.
39. Nitara
I think Nitara's cool. Probably would've ranked her a little higher.
38. Taven
I don't care for Taven. Definitely would've put him lower.
37. Mokap
Like Meat, I don't really hate Mokap...since he's just a stupid joke character...but he should not be this high up. He should probably be down in fifties or lower.
36. Shujinko
Shujinko was a good concept that got horribly botched in execution. I think he should be lower.
35. Drahmin
I like Drahmin a lot and I think he can go somewhere. But for now, I think this a good ranking for him.
34. Blaze
Not into Blaze. Not horrible, but I htink he should be lower.
33. Li Mei
I though Li Mei sucked in MK:DA, but improved in every way in Deception. Good ranking for her, I suppose.
32. Jax
Ugh...lower. Much lower. I hate Jax.
31. Nightwolf
Nothing against Nightwolf, but I think he should be lower.
30. Scorpion
Scorpion probably deserves to be higher, but I can't complain about his placement. He used to be my overall favorite, but now...he's pretty much dead to me.
29. Dairou
Dairou wasn't great, but whatever's wrong with him I think can be fixed. That said, he probably shouldn't be this high up.
28. Kai
Kai's a blank slate to me. He should probably be lower.
27. Sindel
Good placement for Sindel.
26. Reiko
I like Reiko, but admittedly he shouldn't be this high.
25. Moloch
Pretty meh on Moloch, myself. He should be lower.
24. Mavado
I liked Mavado, even though they fucked him over in Deception.
23. Hotaru
I've warmed up to Hotaru. No complaints.
22. Sareena
Love Sareena. Realistically, this a very good ranking for her....but I would've put her higher.
21. Johnny Cage
Ugh. Lower. Much lower.
20. Kintaro
I think Kintaro's awesome, but realistically, he should not be this high up.
19. Fujin
Fuijn's cool. Maybe should be lower, but I don't mind him.
18. Baraka
Kind of indifferent towards Baraka. But I don't mind his placement here.
17. Noob Saibot
Maybe should've been higher, but can't really complain.
16. Quan Chi
Definitely would've put him higher. Great villain. Personaly favorite.
15. Kabal
Kabal's cool, but I don't think he should be this high up. Not a lot lower...twenties maybe.
14. Shao Kahn
Cool villain...probably should've gotten higher. Maybe top ten.
13. Mileena
Good placement for her, I think. No complaints.
12. Liu Kang
Oh god.....lower. Lower...lower....lower. Piece of shit.
11. Reptile
Seems about right.
10. Shang Tsung
Not all that into Shang Tsung...but I'm not surprised he ranked high up.
9. Havik
Havik's cool. Maybe a little too high...but I don't mind.
8. Cyrax
eh...Cyrax is okay, but he's definitely not top ten. He should've gotten lower.
7. Kenshi
Kenshi's cool. Maybe not top ten, but I would've been him pretty high.
6. Ermac
Again, maybe not top ten...but Ermac's cool.
5. Kung Lao
Seems also right.
4. Raiden
Also about right.
3. Sub-Zero
Not surprised and can't complain.
2. Kitana
Happy about this. Good character and deservedly in the top ten.

....um....I like Jade and all, but the numer one? Definitely should've been much lower.
