yo Onaga over-powered Raiden, Quan Chi, & ShangTsung without the power of the Kami in Deception. Ermac is just one of your favorite MK slaves depending on the power of combined souls of warriors that passed away. Oh and before anybody gets on my ass about whta I say. Check out the meanest MK intro out, and the Glory that was ment to be for a true boss.
actully onaga didnt do anything to beat the three They were so scared os him they all started attacking him till raiden did a suicide attack that killed all three of them really all onga did was walk towards them

1) Shujinko- Everyone time he fights someone, he gets better. If he loses to say.. Shao Kahn, then the next time he fights him he would win. I know he's not a fan favorite, but he's pretty awesome in my eyes.

2) Onaga- Now, I'm not going to grade him for the fact that he took out Raiden, Tsung, and Quan Chi at one time because he was using the Kamidogu, and that's why he had all that power. But even so, he was the first Emperor of Outworld, and Shao Kahn himself decided to poison him instead of battle him one on one.

3) Raiden- This was a hard choice, but I gotta go with Raiden, he is the leader of all Earthrealm warriors.

4) Liu Kang- You could make a case to put him higher, but I'm keeping him at 4. I feel like Raiden did a better job fighting the deadly alliance.. but other than that Liu took out Shang Tsung, Goro, Shao Kahn, and Shinnok. He's very badass.

5) Shinnok- I know lots of people think putting him ahead of Kahn is b.s. But Shao Kahn is not a God and Shinnok is. An ELDER God at that. Unfortunately we've never witnessed his true power so it's hard to say where he would be.

6) Shao Kahn- We know how powerful he is.. and that's to say VERY powerful. He has brute strength, black magic, and excellent fighting skills. We know he commands countless villians, but is still second to Liu Kang.

7) Quan Chi- I feel like Quan Chi is more powerful than both Goro and Kintaro. And we know him to be better in Kombat than both Kitana and Shang Tsung.

8) Goro- Now I know some may think Kintaro should be better than Goro, but I feel differently. He was the reigning 9 time MK champion, and he killed the original Kung Lao, who defeated Shang Tsung.

9) Sub-Zero (younger)- This was also a hard decision. Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Ermac were all neck and neck in my book, but the fact that he was able to defeat Sektor, become the new Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, and turn the clan into a force of good helps me put him here.

10) Scorpion- Now I'm not talking about the Elder God's champion Scorpion, because I feel like that's not truly who he is, plus he still wan't able to defeat Shujinko when he was. But he's still a badass and is fully capable of defeating many other characters.

Hon. Mentions- Shang Tsung, Ermac, Kintaro, Taven (he could be top 6 or 7 but Its hard to tell)

Both three of them did.

Quan Chi was tracked down by Scorpion when he got to Shang Tsung's acid moat house. Quan managed to kill him by knocking him into the acid. Shang Tsung would not believe this. (Konquest or whatever mode it was called back in MKDA. it states specifically that Quan Chi did it with his slide kick which you had to practice at that mission as I recall).

Drahmin and Moloch tossed him into the Soulnado for lulz.

Actuatly, all who think Quan Chi had defeated Scorpion is wrong. That was just a trailer to persuade buyers. But Quan Chi never deafeated him. If you read Scorpion's MK:DA bio on MK websites, it says that Scorpion tortured, chased and etc. Quan Chi throughout Neatherrealm. So Q-C hired Moloch and Drahmin who together threw him into the Void. Scorpion survived, beat up Q-C some more in Deception, and got crowned the real Elder Gods champion by the Elder Gods. So Scorpion never been defeated by Q-C. And yes, he has been defeated by Sub Zero before, but a long time ago. Believe it or not, Scorpion defeated Sub Zero more then Sub Zero defeated Scorpion, including in the two latest MK games. And for all who think that Shujinko and Taven are the best, just so you know every Konquest mode game, the character you play with is SUPPOSED to beat everyone they face. I think, without scripted work by Ed Boon, if Shujinko and Scorpion were to face legitly, Scorpion would beat Shujinko and so would Onaga. And in Raiden's ending he killed Shunjinko.

Quan Chi's strength depends a lot on his amulet, much like Sub-Zero, and I think that's a clear problem. It requires them to have these devices to be more powerful. Shang Tsung has passive abilities that are just a part of who he is, and like I said in my write up those are very useful abilities to have.

The only major ability Shang has that Quan doesn't know is soul stealing. Which is very useful, yes, but I still think that if Quan didn't have the amulet (and keeping in mind he barely even knows how to tap into the thing's power so it's not even buffing him all that much), he'd still take Shang. He's just too much older and more knowledgeable. Experience counts for everything when it comes to spellcasters because it's all about how many spells they've learned and how much arcane studying they've done in their lives. Shang has the cheat of gaining knowledge and memories from the souls he steals, but I still don't think it's enough.

They're not too far apart, but I think Quan without the amulet would win about 6 times out of 10.

Scorpion is not even with Sub-Zero. There's just no proof of that besides people really liking Scorpion. The only way Scorpion qualifies for this if the fight takes place in the Netherrealm, where it is known he gets stronger the longer he remains there. But I put my rankings on neutral ground since I don't think it's very fair to base power on where you are happen to be fighting at.

Well I was thinking more about the ability upgrade the Elder Gods gave him than the "gains power the more time he spends in Hell" thing. He's supposed to be strong enough to kill Onaga, Shujinko just got there first.

are you sure that quan is older than shang because every time shang dies he turns to dust....like hes been living for centuries.confused

Shang's a little over a thousand years old according to his MK1 bio.

Quan is "as old as the Netherealm". So, like, millions of years.
