They didn't want a lawsuit or confusion with raiden from the Metal Gear Series, so they changed the spellign (but for whatever reason later changed i back)

Nope. Raiden from Metal Gear came much later.

Eh. I rwally wouldn't know that anyway (considering I am nowhere nar a Metal Gear Fan. The closest I've ever been to playing Metal Gear is with Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.)

Because that's how the name was spelled originally, but then got retconned from Y to I sometime around MK3/4 ish.
Personally i think RaYden makes sense as in a RAY of light, lightning being his thing and it still sounds like the Japanese influence name Raijin. A pun that works in both languages.

Nope none of you are correct, here's a hint to help y'all in figuring it out:
It has to do with a video game & to avoid legal trouble.

Sinse nobody else will try, I'll take a shot-
The video game series "Raiden" had sparked a controversy over the name. Midway changed the name to 'Raiden' to avoid legal trouble.

Okeydoke.
Now- in MK;A, only one character was seen in the main character Render (all playable characters in one) that was NOT in a playable costume. WHo was the character, and what costume were they in.

The number of people that appear in each ending. Subtle.
1. Reiko = 1 person (Reiko)
2. Kai = 2 people (Raiden and Kai)
3. Jax = 3 people (Jax, Sonya, and Jarek)
4. Tanya = 4 people (Tanya, Liu Kang, Quan Chi, and Shinnok)

Puno hvala! Been lurking for months.
Good question by the way.
Okay.
Who is Nikko, where was he found, and what happened to him?
I admit, I had to do some research for that. I suspected at Deception's konquest mode immediately due to tons of NPCs there, but I had no idea who he was. So I found that Nikko was a lost dog that got eaten lol. I suppose this happened in Earthrealm.

Yes, indeed.
A very minor character whose owner made a meal out of him.
I wouldn't really expect anyone to remember the name of the lost dog from the beginning of Deception.
Your turn.
Edit:

Nothing wrong with having good memory, no matter how trivial and unimportant it may be. It certainly comes in handy with this thread.
