I think, no I know Boon addressed this once. or at least someone
did. Actually it was in one of the MKast's. Can't remember which
one is was but I do remember them saying it was completely by
accident or something like that. It was spelled with a C, but some-
one on the Mk team wrote with a K and they just ran with it. Gah I
wish I knew which MKast it was so I can determine whether or not
I'm way off base here lol. But yeah, that's what I remember from it.

I guess "MORTAL KOMBAT" looks better than "MORTAL COMBAT"

Kombat looks much more agressive than spelled with a boring old C.

Yeah, the word "Combat" sucks, but "Kombat"...

That one change makes it all the better.

I believe the KKK had nuthing to do with it, like some assumed. It's like a lingo, or a style when its (K)ombat, and not (C)ombat.

This is because C is for Cookie, and Cookies and Kombat Don't mix.....Sadly.

I wondered that too once. I never really thought too much about it though. lol. And now it just seems stupid and WAY off course if you say "Mortal Combat." Just looks weird and wrong. "Kombat" just has an edginess too it. "K" sharp letter, "C" curvy and whatnot. Lol.

The letter "K" is known for it's highly aggressive behavior toward the letter "C". HAHA! I'm a worthless whore.

One time in 9th grade, I got a B on a research paper about chinese martial arts because I wrote the word combat with a 'k' about 15 times...
