Do not take any character endings from Armageddon as canon. Edenians are immortal in the sense that they never die of old age but can still be killed. Kintaro not too sure but wait till this new game since it's the new canon

I'm still puzzled as to how the Lin Kuei, Shirai Ryu, and Wu Shi academy exist in secrecy despite MK games taking place in modern day.

The reason Sindel's hair is like that is because she's brought back from the dead. It's supposed to give more of that ghoulish vibe

Jade and Kitana are childhood friends so they are around the same age. Mileena was created by Shang Tsung, so she is younger than him.

Kintaro was supposedly killed by Raiden, and that's why in MKA Shinnok was able to make an apparition of him and the other characters there because they are denizens of Hell.

Kitana and Jade are Edenians, a race descendant from the gods which means they will never die of old age.

Mileena was created as a clone of Kitana and is therefore not as old as Kitana.


Baraka was never in UMK3, but was in MK Trilogy, re-using his MK2 sprites. I don't think his appearance was canon.

Scorpion's family was murdered, but the Elder Gods only resurrected his clan, not his family. However, they were resurrected as spectres like Scorpion is.

Yes both Jade and Mileena grew up with Kitana, as stated in Mileena's MK2 and Jade's UMK3 bio. So yes , both are around 10,000 years of age. Mortal Kombat 2011 destories this concept, Mileena doesn't have the same orgin story anymore nor the same relationship with Kitana.

Since Baraka wasn't in UMK3 , I assume you mean MKT. Baraka didn't have staples in MKT, only in MK4. The staples were just his design for that game.

Vogel pretty much unfinished aspect up in MK, so their isn't a real answer. Tobias killed them off, but Vogel brought them back. Vogel never finished his part in the story.

But anyway, I know the Wu Shi Academy isn't hidden, but I'm saying like 95% of Earthrealm isn't even aware that places like that exist, or how the Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu, two ancient clans managed to survive as warriors and assassins for centuries.

I still don't know who classic subzero from MKT is... his ending confuses me :(

Maybe Tobias was going to make the oringal Sub-Zero come back one day, in terms of future MK games, but of course that really didn't happen.Of course, it sort of happened , with the whole Sub-Noob thing.

A popular theory is that Tobias wrote the ending in five minutes on a napkin at a diner, and figured he'd resolve it next time.

One assumes Classic Sub-Zero was never meant to be canon. He's basically the Mokap "I'm just here for fun" character of UMK3. They had a ninja sprite to palette swap around with, they made a blue one out of it just to have the old Sub-Zero look and moves like the puddle in the game...and then when it came to story, they did the same thing to him that they do with characters like Male Chameleon. They said "Well he doesn't actually matter, the other Sub-Zero in the game is the real one. So we'll just throw something in there like... "He's been in hiding all along and comes out to become the MK champion" or "When he reveals his true identity, everyone is shocked! But we won't tell you what that identity is...for suspense!"

Pretty much every fighting game storyline ever,except for MK and KOF,was created using the Napkin Theory.
