What group better to like than the heroes who have fought to protect the realms? Most of my favorite characters are good guys so I guess I would just choose something general. More specifically, I suppose I would say the White Lotus Society.

The new Lin Kuei (reformed by Sub-Zero in MKDA) I'd like to have him as my Grandmaster.

I think we know about Takeda. But other than founding the Shirai Ryu and working in Japan, we know nothing else. Where they more friendly to others or just as dark as the Lin Kuei? What weapons did they use? What abilities did Takeda and the rest possess?

So many questions...

My favorite faction would be the Saurians. But I guess they don't count since Reptile works for Shao Kahn and Khameleon wants to kill Shao Kahn. No confirmation whether or not Chameleon is even a Saurian.

Takeda was originally a Lin Kuei warrior before going to Japan to build his own clan, similar to Sektor and his Teku ninja clan in this aspect.They count, never mind the best days of the Saurians are history. One could consider Chameleon a faux Saurian – in case he is a creation of sorcery.

I made a theory that Chameleon is partial clone of Khameleon. Khameleon one time tried to kill Kahn using the 3 ninja powers but Reptile got in the way. Things got complicated and Reptile wounded Khameleon who then had to bail. Impressed with the assassin's power, Kahn ordered his men to create a similar being mixed with humans (like Mileena is to Kitana). Maybe something went wrong and that's why he just waits for a chance at immortality. Something along those lines.

Ah but this is merely a fan-theory.

Second favorite faction would be the Tekunin. Robotic technology turned against Japan sounds ironic.

I haven't thought about it past the point of Chameleon being created in Outworld by sorcery. Cloning Saurians is not a new idea in Mortal Kombat. Chameleon looks like a Saurian and acts like a Saurian, therefore it is fair to call him one too, whether he was given birth by a dino or a wizard.

I don't have one, but, if I did...I'd go with The Black Dragon Clan (original MK series).

I'd like to know more about the Tengu clan in MKA who got a major whoop-assing from Taven unfortunately and their relationship with the Lin Kuei plus more detailed background on the Moroi Empire of Varterennus, Nitara's realm.
